I'm just such a huge fan of his various hairstyles on this show, by the way. It's nice to see actors experiment with it and not the actresses.

Yeah true. If a well known actors had played these roles, there would be a lot of politics, though Paridhi was pretty known I guess, except she had taken a long break. Lots of people in twitter complain that this show was initially promoted as Paridhi's comeback show, but in the recent times PH has lessened her screen time, so her fans are upset 🤔

I don't know if the gym is him kind of jumping on the bandwagon like other leading actors, as some of this recognition is surely rubbing off on him and perhaps putting a little bit of pressure on him regarding this.

He has always been into fitness, but body building to this extent seems relatively knew. He's grown big! I think it's also in line with him playing a cop here.

As for his sundarta, I wish we would see more of it, please! I mean he looks awesome in those kurtas, who would have thought after a certain famous character a few years ago that another man in a kurta would win so many hearts with his performance and looks.

Maybe thats the reason that she grabbed this opportunity. But, didn't Deepika Singh also audition, but Paridhi ended up getting the role? I honestly don't think Deepika would have done justice to the role of Babita. It cannot picture anyone other than Paridhi in Babita's role, and its the same for Ashnoor and Aniruddh.

As for Anirudh, I think SAB TV falls under Sony's branch so he must have heard about it internally.

Edit: Loll, so I was thinking of the wrong Deepika. I thought you guys were talking about the Sasural Simar Ka wali. 😆

Considering the state of ITV today, I think the cast is incredibly lucky that they PH has come up with such a great concept and writing, and they in turn to have found actors willing to take on the challenge.

The theme itself is not new but the way it has been handled and the layers being depicted is something else altogether. Back in the day when Punarvivah was on, the leads had kids right from day 1 on the show and were very active parents, but both of them were real professionals who weren't afraid of being typecast after that. Indeed they weren't and even after the show ended they did well for themselves.

Okay, but the show has been focusing on her for 200+ episodes. And Paridhi herself has wanted some time off so that she can spend more time with her kid. Which I don't fault her for tbh. But the episodes in which she wasn't the focus, did make me disconnect with Babita. She did some things that I felt were out of her character.
