Their sole focus only on Minnie for the upcoming track is what’s annoying me. Why does every damn thing needs to be surrounded around Minnie? Can HS and Babita not develop equation on their own? 🙄

Bahut Minnie Minnie dekhliya. Ab focus needs to be on HS and Babita and how Babita bridges the gap between the father and daughter.

This is what NB was talking about. I missed her in this episode.

Again, here's the difference between the Khuranas and her. She didn't run upstairs to interfere in the trio's matters even though as the prospective mother-in-law she has every right to go talk to them. The difference would be her intention. She would have handled the situation perfectly.

Did you see Lala's look when he passes by Minnie to hand the milk to Babita? It looks like he is displeased with her for the first time. I hope both NB and he have had a chat but he seemed surprised that his sir sahab was sleeping in the aangan and was expecting him to make tea.

Lala didn't expect things to go so horribly wrong. When the CD played, he knew things got fcked but then they came back and jaise bhi kar ke shaadi kar li. Mood thora off hoga but it will all get better in the end. But jab subha aaya, toh yeh dekhno mila.

I was just watching the way they had reconciled. Psychological impact is such, it's now feeling all incomplete. Something was a miss there, the way HS had dismissed all possibilities of he being angry with Mini. He had brushed it off as Mann ghanat kahaniyaan. But no boss. That talk needs a closure. Closure with acceptance that Mini affects him too much. And he wants to see himself as Mini's proud father.

Completely agree, especially with the part in bold. His love is so much grander than his need to hold on to grudges or resistance to forgiving that he shortchanges himself. It's fine to be selfless when you love someone but it also means you hurt yourself eventually, which is exactly what's happening to him right now.

That's why I feel this scene was a throwback to their confrontation one. There he had discovered exactly how much he means to her but today she also was shocked to see the depth of his hurt that his Veer Balika didn't want him in her or her mother's life. I don't think she has the maturity to process this or know how to solve the problem. She is likely to interpret it as him being concerned that she didn't want him to marry her mother and will then give them space, which in turn will convince him that he was right to think Minnie feels he is the unwanted one that came between mother and daughter. Ugh!

Because Babita doesn't know about the confrontation and the hospital talk, she can't assess the situation appropriately so she might not be able to help either of them. Minnie will be lost even more now because she won't feel able to reach out to her Hanuman Uncle in times of need as she always had and this will widen the gap. Her friends might be supportive but they are young too and might not have the maturity to deal with this.
