There is never a wrong time to show concern for a friend's well being and that's what Micky has done time and time again..it actually irks me to see people blame Micky for this. His concern is Minnie...his best friend...not Babes not HS not anyone. He sees Minnie and what she has been through and sees her as a person independent of Babes. Kudos to Mickey for being a great friend..even though we know he also loves her..

From the time Babes blamed Minni for staying with Ashok to little things like the mehendi and lehenga to even the invitation error with Khatri. Even how Babes reacted to the whole situation was a bit crass...she could have just told Kammo to leave and then deal with Khatri later. Then she wants to cancel the wedding just like that?? And who will she blame if Minnie said yes??Is Babes a child? I am so done with Babes..the writers have made her almost bipolar

Mickey seems to be the only sane person and reliable person who Minnie can depend on

Why the hell has no adult stepped in to help Minnie..she is a kid in school..or did she drop out? Yeah she wants to do it herself but at some point an adult can step in and be like your overwhelmed I won't take no for an answer and I'm helping you out

I love the show but it seems to lose its realistic touch at times

i completely agree with you. the elders after listening to everything just run away behind babita even hanuman (im disappointed with him as babes to is extra emotional but he should have stayed) even preet is gayab. but only mickey stays. All he asks is mini ok and if she is not herself hurt because of all this. And every one blasts mickey for doing what the elders should have done.

No one sees that the 17 year old has been called a bad reminder of ashok to babita, she was told that she was used to get to her moms heart. And now tell me if this girl isnt being emotionally abused. But nhi everyone is bothered about only babita.

And i dont understand kammo nor do i want to give her any benefit of doubt. if she was hurt by babita calling khatri ghatiya insaan she should have got back at babita- hanuman without involving mini. calling mini a bad reminder of ashok to babita was a very ghatiya comment . it showed that kammo is indeed ghatiya & today she was worse than khatri.

No Mini needs to study and make something of her life be it Photography or another Career. And I want her to travel as well and see the world as well.

But dont want her tangled up in this toxic friendship with Mickey. Even if Mickey and Preeti break up it will never be the same and will carry the burden of deceit which will be true and it will never work as the burden of guilt will always overshadow it.

Hence the line is never crossed in friendship and if it is than it always ends in tears.

If this is a progressive show than I for one don't want it go in the scared place of Friends as its not musical chairs where you change partners at whim and not caring who gets hurt in the process.

No progressive show can be one where the minute a girl hits 16 or so needs to show that you dont to have a boyfriend but instead Study and make something of your life first, travel and see the world is the progression that should show.

Girl empowerment is a progressive story and not the usual boyfriend nonsense.

I have a major problem with this too. I can't believe even NB or HS didn't pick up on this. If this is to make him go on a major guilt trip later on for having failed as her father then I don't know what to say. Major inconsistencies here.

Btw, Now a days I don't blame Ashok for leaving Babita .

I said something similar a few days ago and was attacked by Babita fans. I was merely stating what the writers are showing.

Anyways...I think the PH has tweeted that Mini will soon realize that not everything between Ashok and Babita was black and white. Something on those lines. We viewers still have no idea what kind of marriage Ashok Babita had during the first ten years. As of now, as viewers we have been shown Ashok as total black and Babita as white. Surely there must have been grey zone both. My guess is both Ashok and Babita had ego and neither backed down from their decision. In the process, Mini is the one who suffered. Hence, what Poonam said...Babita can hurt herself due to her own ego.

Kammo was pretty horrible but it was due to Babes insulting her husband..I know Khatri is nasty but I think Babes calling him ghatiya in front of Kammo was over the top....she could have told Kammo to leave with Khatri and leave it at that..deal.with it later ...and she said all this not for Minni but for her damn ego and self respect which is why she ran off after

Ashoks character was destroyed by PH. They turned him into a self absorbed human being rather than keep a balance of good and bad...he went from being grey to absolutely soul less

Then PH butchered Babes character and defended themselves by calling out the audience for going after a flawed heroine...umm no...yes humans are flawed but you have HS who has gone through abuse and losing the love of his life being so rational mature and calm and then you have Babes who is obviously going to be compared to him..who is an absolute wreck and quite selfish at times. This is the same lady who stayed up all night to make a dress for Minni and then turn around and blame Minni for staying with Ashok...yeah that's the PH fault for shoddy writing.

I don't want Minni in any relationship and yes I want her to explore the world...however I do like Micky as her friend...he is her sounding board and at times her conscience...he echoes what she is really thinking in her heart/head. Why the PH put Micky and Preet together is odd...especially since both are from strict backgrounds..they sneaking around?

If they are doing FB to when Babes was married does that mean the actor who played Ashok will come back?

From what Beeji mentioned Ashok has completely abandoned them and is not in touch with them. If he does show for Babes wedding I hope it's for something positive than negative

If I remember correctly, in one of the FB of Babita, Ashok is playing with little Mini and Babita comes and they smile at each other. I guess the relationship was not so bad during the initial years but later went sour due to some reason.

What I did not like is the director made the actor shout (Bhanu) all the time. A person can be negative without shouting at the top of his lungs. They practically butchered Ashok's character.

The writing has been more consistent for a character like Khatri. CVs seem indecisive about Babita and put the blame on the fans.

I have always said this but it has not gone down well at all with some on this forum who have put 100% of the blame on Mita and Ashok but left Babita as scott free.

That Babita too was to blame for the breakdown of her Marriage as its two to clap hands in a Marriage. One of the reasons for her not moving on is her ego that she gave 17 years of her young years in looking after his Parents but he left her by a voicemail on his Sister's phone for all to hear, is the main reason she is still struggling with it. She had build in her mind a love story with her absent Husband and in reality there was nothing there.

I really don't want Mini to have a breakdown as I think that the CV will go down the sensible route as a journey of discovery with the 3 of them on this new Marriage, as in a way its new to them all.

Loved how HS was nervous but Babita was confident and laughing with him. But I too wish that he said lets go for a candlelit dinner and say that I love you.

If the CV in there progressive mindset go down the Mini/Mickey than it is as following:

Preeti + Mickey = Mini + Deceit

Babita + Ashok = Divorce + Mita

The parallel is very eerie here and I hope that Mini is the sensible here and says no to this toxic relationship with Mickey as in the future with a Romeo is not going to be scary and not trust able and she has seen her Mother go through it.

But what Mini is going through now is the seeds of doubt deliberately planted by Mickey for what reason is obvious, that he wants to be there to pick up the pieces and show that he truly loves her is not nice.

By you’re reasoning ppl are not capable of change. So HS must still be a drunken wife beater and babita must still be the weak woman she was on day one of the show.

He is not two timing preet and they’ve not crossed any lines so don’t know how u draw that conclusion. Everyone, including preet, knows that mickey is in love with mini. Yes he’s “putting ideas in her head” but it’s the truth. Even after the fight with lovely where he told her perhaps babita is only doing what mini wants to please her, when they cut to babita speaking to NB, she actually said she only scolded lovely cos she felt pressure from mini, not cos she actually wanted to.

There isn’t any motive behind him saying he’s her only friend cos he is. When has preet ever noticed what mini is going thru? Where was preet when she had the nervous breakdown? Who was there after kammo said all those things? It wasn’t preet was it. We know what preet’s friendship is about, she will break it off at the drop of a hat if she had to choose. Bobby and mickey are much better friends to mini.

Comparing him to ashok is REALLY far fetched

Ashok was in relationship with Meeta since last 10 years of their Marriage. So first 7 years he might have visited them couple times.

Babita and Ashok could have had differences. But, Ashok was in other relationship and yet he kept Babita in dark for 10 years. He should have come home & told her about Meeta earlier. Even the last time He came, he couldn't muster the courage to tell Babita. He left. It was Meeta who landed up at airport & so, Ashok had to confess it to Mini and Babita that he doesn't love her and that he loves someone else.

That's a huge back stab. You no longer love your wife. You keep her in dark in sham Marriage for 10 years to serve your family while you enjoy your life away from home. If Meeta hadn't come, he would gone another couple years without saying anything and keeping his wife & daughter in dark.

I agree they weren't compatible. But still Ashok shares bigger share of the blame. He always will. And, what about Mini? He fulfilled no duty of his towards her either.
