Mickey is essentially telling Minnie that she can't link all her happiness with Babes. She needs to find and do things that make HER happy. Basically have a life that exists outside of her mother. Babes needs to do the same as well. He's not telling her to severe ties with her or anything, but Minnie is soon to become an adult. She needs to start living for herself. Babes, I understood what he was telling her... I just don't understand the timings... bhai shadi h... everyone does everything possible for the bride! I was recalling my sister's wedding and I remembered I couldn't get mehndi on my hands till the last function because I had to run around making things right for my sister... from getting the sofa changed at the last minute to all other last-second changes... So how does Minnie running around getting the wedding dress fixed for Babes has to do that with any of his gayan...

I am not saying what he said is wrong! I agree he is right and Minnie does need to get a little detached and find her own space... all that is correct! But seriously, is this the time to make her think? Does she even have time to reflect on all these thoughts? If he was my best friend, I would have expected him to bring this up AFTER the wedding...

Babes Mini scene was awesome. Both living for each other and hiding things and faking happiness.

mini actually knows babita needs her in her life. but with HS its a new formed rishta. she should feel that sense of security that she is equally important to HS as much as babita & that she is not some kabab me haddi to them. though HS has always told her that she is first for him.

Wohi tu... now is not the time... I mean what does getting a dress fixed for the bride has to do with all that Mickey told her... I will say that a million times, what Mickey said was right! but the timings are just annoying me... and probably also the way he says it... I mean coming from Hanuman, I feel its all relevant and understandable since Hanuman has more insight into their relationship and understands both mother and daughter at a deeper level. Mickey, in my opinion, hardly understands their dynamics... It was all nice when he was focusing on Minnie's happiness and understood Minnie, but now when he is trying to comment on their relationship, he seems so irrelevant and his timings are wrong!

its just that mickey is spending time with mini now so he is making her understand that. Also after the wedding babes hanuman will need to spend some alone time together so mini will feel left out like she felt in the pizza scene. So indirectly mickey is trying to make her prepared for the time after wedding. its not the physical preparation that mini is doing, its about the mental preparation that she needs

Oh no, I completely agree with you on the timing. He brought it up once, it was fine but he doesn't need to keep doing it. He needs to consider the situations. I guess he was trying to plant some seeds so that she can think about them later on. But if he expects her to act upon them right away, then I'm not with him.

Someone commented about Mahavir from Highway the other day. They used the Suha-Saha song from the movie when HS was remembering his Mother. Anirudh really brings about all emotions on his face.

Micky is right in telling Mini to stop running to fix everything in Babes' life. Even if she fixes, there's no guarantee that Babes will be happy all the time.

Loved Saroj's lines today. "yehi to problem hai aapki didi. Har baat ko lekar guilty feel karte ho." Har koi Babes ko padh sakta hai. She is like open book.

Jaago was fun. Pinku ne bhi aaj toh dhamaal machai. Looks like dance and celebrations episodes are being shot recently while other scenes have been shot before.

More than HS & Babita, it looked like Anirudh and Paridhi were taking selfie. Paridhi looked beautiful. This is first dress I have liked in all functions so far. Color totally suits her.

Khatri fir aa gaya. When HS & Babita enter that attraction phase, they gonna want privacy. Only normal in newly married couples. Khatri's words have possibility to haunt Mini then.

I felt the exact same thing. The gyaan was right but the timing was wrong. Also, this Mickey giving Mini these advices is going a bit overboard. I mean okay, he's giving her a neutral perspective on her life but bhai, shaadi ka mahol hai. Every time getting such philosophical might not be appreciated.

And technically, why shouldn't she be happy if the lehenga and mehendi was fixed? It's only natural to get happy when you solve problems! That moment did not require gyaan. It would've made sense later or in some other context.
