Looks like phone convos are a Hanita thing now.

In a way, it was face to face since they were seeing each other over the balcony. Babes couldn't go outside since the other ladies would then question her and then get more fodder to gossip. HS, I doubt would have went back inside and would have insisted on having the convo through the phone only.

Was it just me or did HS start speaking to Babes informally after the phone call? Like, there was no ji or other such honorifics.

Jean this was an episode full of symbolism. Right up your alley. Especially the balcony phone call scene and all the portions with Imarti and Naeem Bi Mini convo. Also Mickey-HS, etc. Waiting impatiently for your WU+analysis.

The entire episode was so beautiful. The phone call, the apology to Poonam, Babita coming out with her true fears, Minnie imagining Imarti and feeling her presence and happiness, and even Mickey and HS' hug moment as they both get emotional.

The issues might be far from over, as Naeem bi explained to Minnie, but if they tried together, they could find moments of happiness/relief in everyday life. I loved how the makers mocked the idea of 'happily ever after'. We often get influenced by these themes, but in reality you have to compromise and make relationships work throughout your life. It's a constant struggle which is worth those earned happy moments.

Minnie giving that respect and endearment to Imarti was lovely to see. She felt influenced by not just HS and Naeem bi, but also Imarti today. As if the approval of this strong, smart lady whom her Hanuman uncle loves so much is also important to her.

The precap: watching Minnie's parents (mockingly) fight over her and which side she was from as she stood confused was so sweet and much needed in her life.

I so so loved the episode... Hanita phone convo was so well done...  

I liked how they brought the apology matter as well... It was so Heartwhelming...

And did HS started calling her without using aap now.. He talked to her so informally after the apology scene.... My god loved this segment a lot today

Lots of warning signs in today's episode...

NB's comment about the relationship needing work.

HS talking about how he saw his mother crying in that haveli and didn't want to see mother-daughter in that state.

He also indicated that he was on board with demystifying her, going into this with his eyes open. He realized that he will have to deal with this lifelong and that today was just a temporary truce.

I don't think she will act out during the wedding festivities after this.

This is what I've been waiting for. Minnie having to give equal importance to both parents, and HS having expectations as a father. Things become complicated.
