KK speak up about twitter’s criticism on Babita’s character

Damnn they must be getting a lot of criticism for it to clarify like this.

Such a shame that women characters judged so harshly. A gutsy woman who dates to reveal herself with her flaws...Twitter warriors r either abusing her or imagining we ruined her character. #patialababes

Cause anything imperfect unacceptable by people?? No wonder most of tv shows end up depicting cloned n perfect characters. Btw it is not Babita's test but Hanuman's test. Can he love her w/o expecting her to be mahaan? #patialababes

True love? What is true love and what is false love? Who is making up these definitions? Every couple has its own chemistry, own compromises, own dynamics. So will Hanuman and Babita #patialababes

Women characters should either be mythological Goddesses or victims? No space for real women with their flaws in stories? Women who make mistakes and pay heavily...then learn again and still are willing to try again...live again...make yet another mistake? #patialababes

And blaming Hanuman for loving Imarti? So what? It's not my Babita who has a problem with her...its the abusers. Cause they can't understand let be is not about ownership. #patialababes

Gall to say??? Love her less? He never said so. Btw even if he had why should a man not have the same liberties as a woman to decide about his Lovelife? Can you force someone to love in exact measurements you wish? Crazy thought #patialababes

Shockingly Mini is bashed as a hurdle in her mother's love life? Ask real divorcee mothers how privileged they feel if their children approve of their second love/marriage? Mini Babita's inspiration not hindrance. Without her daughter's love Babita is a lost soul. #patialababes

Worst is that a 15 years old girl is being constantly criticised for playing a part so convincingly. She is gorgeous talented and brave and open enough to accept challenges. Her character most flawed and she did all gray shades with elan. #patialababes

#patialababes is a story and not a message board. I am a story teller not a postman. if viewers see a message... It's accidental and not intentional. Show is neither feminist nor my own voice. My own opinions don't matter. Characters have a life of their own. #patialababes

Pls rewatch the show. Umpteen number of times ego word has been uttered in reference to Babita. Ego btw is not negative or positive trait. Ego is self. No one is w/o ego. U feeling the pinch cause for 1st time Babita suffering consequences?

Any expression gets automatically emphasised when there is a considerable consequence. other characters react. Even blame and accuse. Sometimes fairly sometimes not. Natural. No character final authority in judgment. They are reacting as daughter lover friend. #patialababes

It's TRUE... But, if they have ruined her character, it's not just any ruin, but they have literally transformed her into an all new character. The Babes that I was earlier acquainted with, was not even having the guts to speak out. Forget having ego, she didn't even know how to talk to get her work done. And now, this? I agree, waqt ke saath insaan bhi badal jaata hai, but this is something really new...🤡

I kinda agree with them.we all have been too harsh on babes even labelling her unworthy of HS love. We have seen too many shows where a good girl gets married to a bad guy and changes him for good. Wouldnt it will be treat to watch a guy with his selfless love bringing the women he loves out of all the insecurities and then witnessing their journey to form a everlasting love and i have faith in his love. He will surely releive babita from all her insecurites and i would love to see the day when babita will truely surrender in front of HS love.

I am glad they tweeted.

I felt worst when people called her unworthy of HS's love. Yes we all have been too harsh on Babita.

No we haven't been. I don't think I have been.

I have just called a spade a spade and accepted it as such because just as Katha Kottage is saying people are imperfect and it is indeed Hanuman's test not babita's but my contention was why should such a good man have to make so many compromises when he is pretty much complete in himself??

As for complete transformation of babita I don't agree either. She was always like this. She just couldn't call the shots before because she was not economically independent, she was dealing with aggressive people like ashok, lovely, Beeji, etc.

Now not only is she economically independent and supposedly doing better than HS financially but she is dealing with a very different man. HS is not aggressive like ashok, lovely, beeji, etc. He believes in women being equal to men.

She has always been on an ego trip with him, it's not new. Also with Minnie. Poonam also confirmed that she had always been like that.

In fact I love this show because it is so realistic and shows people as they are in real life.

And totally agree with them about true love and all being just delusional.

I cannot stand perfect adarsh nari heroines and other characters. White and black. Jere we are dealing with grey.

Kudos to the courage and conviction of the writers and the PH.
