Jean I will be happy if HS does speak out to correct them. Remember how many of us have said how Babita and Mini were taking advantage of HS's goodness. They say and do things without realizing how much HS has helped them. While this attitude may have softened a bit, especially Mini and HS bond has gotten stronger, but honestly, I think Babita has a long way to go.

HS may have said the hurtful paraya mard lines. But in the past, even Babita has pointed fingers at HS's character. HS never said anything nor did he let his ego come in. He still helped the mother and daughter when he could have easily asked them to leave.

Anyways I am glad this is one show where my thinking has matched with the writers. Never before have I got so many things right. I am glad that Rajita Sharma is not making any compromise just for trp. My expectations from Katha Kottage has increased after PB. Kudos to the makers.

Jumpka twist will start this phase I think. Babita is excited to wear Hanuman's jhumke and so she ignores Beeji-Dadu's gift. Then Mini points it out so, Babita is back to feeling guilty. She will start blaming herself.

This is where she has to come out from. She should accept that She wanted to wear Hanuman's gift first. That was her desire.

I am relatively new to PB. Watched in bits and pieces from Mini's mental health track. Amazingly written show. Creatives don't forget anything. They go back and address it. They refer past incidents to make a point. Kudos!

I started watching from start. Right now at 18th January Episode where Ashok blames Babita for their relationship falling out. He tells her she was so busy playing ideal bahu, she forgot him. Why didn't she come along with him to London. She is perfect and he is not so, he fell for Meeta coz Meeta is imperfect like him.

Babita in turn says -- She was all of 18. Got married and he left in few months. Why didn't he ask her to come along? He was not there to see her imperfections.

What an insight on Human relationships. Dialogues are brilliantly put together.

Ashok definitely shares more percentage of blame but Babita is not all white. She might not been able to decide her priorities. In Initial episodes, when Ashok comes, Babita gets ready and then Lovely taunts her that don't forget your maryada so, Babita goes back to simple wear and tides her hair. This is what she has to come out from. Why put taunts and what others want before her own desires.

I don't blame her entirely for that though. She was all of 18. Taught to be obedient. Expected to put others before her. And top it all Ashok wasn't there with her to make her see that. Just went with the flow. Never once pondering upon what she wants. She was like that until recently. It's only now that she has started to live for herself. I hope she learns that this time. I am sure Thanedaar saab is there with her & make her accept her desires.

Hey thanks. I am liking it. Something so refreshing and simple is so hard to find on Indian TV. I had lot hopes.

I watched one Episode from start of August and got hooked. Some friends also recommended it.

Well Minnie is on track now and she has been positively influenced by him so far, and will continue to be.

As for Babita, well we've seen that no matter how crazy he is about Babita he doesn't take nonsense from her. Phew!

Don't want to see a henpecked HS. That would be the end of the show for me.

If you get a chance to watch from the beginning you will enjoy it even more because there is so much depth to every dialogue and scene. Nothing is ainvayi on this show.

There marriage will do require lot of work. Both comes from two diff ideoligies. HS has seen the bright seen of a marriage which it is supposed to be and Babita has seen worst of marriage. Imo she actually has no idea what marriage actually is bcz she never get to experience it. They will have to come to terms with it. It will be interesting to see how they will strike a balance.

Well they have seen different sides to marriage. She had a long one in terms of duration but nothing much in terms of substance.

He had a shorter one. It was full of love, but ended in major grief and trauma. Babita will have to develop patience and HS will need even more of it to deal with her. He has to give her space to grow but also find a way to get something meaningful out of this relationship in terms of her support as a life partner.

So much relevance to this phase that creatives are talking about. Check my post on 6th page.

From whatever I have seen, writers don't forget anything. They go back and refer to incidents. Such in-depth writing. I am impressed. Hard to find depth and simplicity in Indian TV. Also, the subtle romance.

Yes, it’s such a well written show. Nothing like any other over dramatic ITV shows. This is the only Indian show I watch, and I am loving it. They don’t exaggerate or stretch the tracks too much, just to the point.
