I get the feeling that HS has been framed in Murder, but by who.

Maybe she had a lover before She got Married to HS, and maybe she will in Love with him and tried to break it off with her Lover and he objected and killed her and escaped and HS came to late maybe with Lally.

Or could be revenge killing by someone he jailed. And they killed his wife and maybe he came and found her dead.

Maybe she committed Suicide and he got blamed for it.

But his neighbours or Khatri for sure would have known about it. Maybe Khatri is involved in it and gave wrong statement.

No I dont want HS to be involved in it at all.
