I am glad we saw what we got to see at the beginning of this much awaited episode. The way they sat together and Mini tried very hard to strike the required conversation made me wonder – why are these two people not doing any talking about what really matters? They feel for each other so strongly but why does it get so difficult for them to speak their heart out. Well I got some of my answers during the episode. About the talking, well they talked about how happy they are because of Kabadiwala and frozen matar.

I am loving the way Mini is taking initiative so that her babes can live a story of true love but it’s not that simple. The happy part of everything is that Mini teams up with her Dadi Amma. I knew it since the inception of their idea that it’s not going to work for Hanuman Singh and Babita. The difference lies in the fact that Mini's Dadu Beeji have lived a life together and have accepted each other wholeheartedly. About our Thaanedaar and his Kiraayedaarni ji, it is just a humble beginning.

I feel that is the reason the episode was written and executed in such a way. Babita and Hanuman Singh surely know about their own feelings but they still have a long way to go.

Back to the episode, If we look into how he cross questioned Naeem Bi when she was scolding him about the sharaab habits, 'unhone bataya na aapko.’ In the Hanita dynamic, he is the mature one whereas Babita is innocent. He has seen more of the real world. Yes, he has always been supportive. He has stood by her in her weakest moments. He has been emotionally available for her as well. He has made efforts, given advice to her and helped her become emotionally strong. In return when Babita talks about Imarti, gets him food, makes him handkerchiefs or cleans his cupboard, it becomes discomforting for him because he never asked for any of those. He gets frustrated because she unknowingly steps into matters that are too personal for him.

I loved the way they fought. Babita or not, this man has to understand alcohol does no good. Apart from being entertaining, it conveys a deeper meaning to me when I observe it closely. There is love but there is fear too. Babita is anxious because she is experiencing a new emotion altogether and Hanuman is scared because he has loved Imarti with all his heart. Their weaknesses got revealed in front of each other, from 'Aap aadhi raat ko uss amrika waale bill ke saath chetiyati rehti hai, Maine kuch bola aapko' to 'aap bhi chhup chhup ke sharaab peekar aate hai'.

I am waiting to see the conversation between him and his Veer Baalika to know the reasons of why exactly it is complicated for him?

The precap is just a mere glimpse of what is yet to come. I am eager to watch what exactly happened between the two which made him say what he said. 'Mere andar ki aag ko mat bhadkaao, agar main Jala toh aapko bhi Jala le jaaunga.’ I feel what he genuinely meant is 'Kiraayedaarni ji don’t try and push the wrong buttons in me other wise I will become a more vulnerable version of myself.’

He can stand to fight against the world for her. He can go out of all his ways if she needs help. For instance the time when Mini had to be operated. He can give away his life to see her smile. He can be the jealous and possessive type! Remember his reaction towards her admiration for chef Vikas Khanna and her friendship with Bill. He had not seen her cry but he comes back rushing from Chandigarh because she dedicated a song for him. He knows he won’t be able to live without her. She means the world to him. He understands everything but does not realize the intensity of his own emotions and if he does maybe he is fearful.

We all know that both of them have a past. The story of Ashok and Babita was explained in an elaborate manner but we do not know much about Hanuman Singh's past or his story with Imarti. According to how this story makes me feel, Hanuman Singh has worked very hard so that this more real but vulnerable and angsty side of him is concealed in his heart like a best kept secret. It is going to take some time on his part to open up to Babita just like Babita has taken her time.

Nicely put. Though Babita had tough life.. Hanuman has faced it worse and that too without any support..in last conversation when Minnie tells him that babes is alone and he says you are with her...I felt a kind of void in him.. he is too alone to say to anyone that they are his own..

Now that you mention it ... I realize how much it hurts me ... The reason Naeem Bi, Lala, Mini and Babita mean so much to him. I want him to be happy. He deserves it.

That haunting look in his eyes as Minnie said that... It was difficult to watch.

I loved this post of yours! It very neatly sums up what's been going on and what is yet to come. Even if people get over bad relationships or past memories it's not easy to switch on and off emotions. Things take time, especially for people like these two, who are overly cautious.

@bold

I remember the morning after the letter-writing to Imarti, how HS almost complained to her for trying to bring out the pain that he had buried deep in his heart. There is still a lot going on there.

I am sure that if the writers choose to explore his past it would be done in a brilliant way. They are superb at bringing out angst, and with talent like Aniruddh's they can go wild with creativity in scenes.
