Hi everyone, I am usually a silent reader of viewpoints. This serial has been one of the best I have seen as the makers have put a lot of time and thought into every episode be it the looks, dialogues, characters, messages, crispness, and I can go on....
Today, however, as I read comments, I felt one of the most important communication between HS and Babita in between all the heat and confusion was missed in the comments and hence I am here... my thoughts:
HS means business and this feeling he has for Babita is not an infatuation and will not just pass- I think it was in response to Babita's insecurities or rather unsure thoughts...seen by him through her small gestures
The clay scenes was awesome with Babita giving HS the permission to touch by touching his shoulder (a big step for a woman of her background) and then the rest of it that followed... however, to me, the morning conversation was very specific and placed there with a clear reason - He saying sorry and she becomes even more serious because friendly nok-jok apart the evening before was serious and intimate for her. She was uncertain and she made it clear in stating if you have nothing else I am busy and then taking a step back when he reached out to pull the dupatta stuck to the pillar. There she drew a line even though heart was unsure and feelings (her toes crawling inward when he spoke) spoke otherwise.
HS's response to this (he understood as soon as she took that step back)- he came back 2 steps up, closer, picked the kunkum, paused, looked her in the eye showing her what he had in his hand and mind while she was so perplexed and then symbolically applied the same on his own forehead. He then gave a very humble and sincere yet subtle smile stating he is in this for good. I truly believe it was his way to assure her that he was not just flirting with her or hitting on her or what ever she had in mind after the evening event and the apology.
What is beautiful is that the dialogues throughout the serial are very subtle andweighed with loads of meaning, but what strikes the cords and makes this an even bigger hit is all the unspoken words and gestures speaking more than the words between the HS and Babita (and between other characters too)
Both have surpassed in bring out the most subtle expressions so naturally nailing the right emotions. Kudos to the makers and actors!!!!
