You're liking and watching HS scenes because his role is to destroy the victim mentality of this mother-daughter duo,especially that of the mother's. Their holier than thou attitudes and playing victim is overdoneLosing interest and only watching hs scenes;)
He even snaps at her in an episode when she tries to extend the deadline for delivering the uniforms, stating reasons of her hard time with her colleagues and tears.
He tells her to stop playing the victim card and tells her to leave the job if she can't deliver it on time.
He is actually the echo of the audience's mind in the series and no doubt we love him for his portrayal.
