What an episode!
Thank you for finally making Ashok a real human too. Till the last episode, Ashok was perhaps only one character that just fell out of place in this pretty realistic show. He acted like vamp of a daily soap. So evil. So bad.

In truth, the divorce brought the worst out of him. He's not evil. Yes, he cheated on his wife. kept a relationship for so many years. But realistically speaking, the circumstances were such that this was warranted. I might be delusional but I can't think of one man living so far away and alone and does not get into a relationship.

Remember, in one of the initial episodes Ashok actually apologized to Babes and wondered if she would ever forgive him... And then came the whole divorce episode. It was his ego that was brutally hurt, by babes leaving the house, Mini hating Ashok, everyone blaming him. He was wrong, yes, but where he has hoped for a bit empathy, he didn't even get any sympathy. He was angry and his ego was brutally hurt. And THAT brought the worst in him...

But today, he finally accepted it. Although at one point I did think the CVs will ruin it by a voiceover saying he fooled meeta again... but I am glad so it was an honest confession and his honest realization...

I know a lot of people here feel it should be the doom of Ashok and a success story for Babes, (since I am a regular but a silent member) but I wonder why can't it be a happy ending for both. This story is about the struggles of babes. A divorced woman with a teenage child.

Why does it have to be bad with a man and good with the female story? In reality, if a man and woman divorce, does not mean in the end man is doomed. Or meets a bad fate. They were two people stuck in a bad marriage... the marriage ended, both could be happy. I would love to see two stories now. Ashok and meetas and babes mini and hannumans.

Agree with you completely .

Was liking the fact that Meeta was not shown as downright villain and Now Ashok has got his senses back .
