that is what I said earlier, before starting they should take the I&B approval and all
secondly everywhere kids are being used all 5 days a week and doing promotions and hard tasks
so its trend started from last year itself
frankly speaking it shows concept real in everyone's life
be it a new house new place
the infants reminds me of working couple leaving their infants in nurseries or babysitting or nannies
and the toddlers reminds me of the first day of the kids in school
as working parents the infants/toddlers and all are kept with nannies and nurseries and babysitter for long periods. How equipped you are the first day is similar to everyone who takes charge to take care of kids
this show has sure just awakens those days each working parent is going through, but cant change due to ambition, choice or no choice

You have been making quite a few guest appearances with your husband Sachin Shroff on reality shows. Was it a build up to Pati, Patni aur Woh?
Being actors we end up doing similar kind of shows and people want to see us

together. But we can only do few shows together because it is no fun being together at all times. There are chances that you might get bored. In times like these, we only do guest appearances. Pati Patni aur Woh was a one-off instance where we decided to work together because we wanted to test our compatibility.

What is the main motive of the show?
The motive of this show is to get a hang of parenting. Whenever a person becomes a parent, it's a completely new experience for them and at times they find it difficult to deal with. We will get to see how we deal with it beforehand.

Why did you choose to be a part of it?
I am a very impatient person by nature and I wanted to learn the art of dealing with kids. Moreover, I got married just a few months back and the two of us wanted to see how we react under difficult situations and how we would live through all the ups and downs. In the end, all these hardships will definitely make our bond stronger.

There has been a lot of hue and cry about using children on the show.
There is absolutely no child labour involved here. The kids do not work for money and their real parents are always around to see them. They are not made to work and are taken good care of.

You have been a part of many reality shows in the past, both as participant and anchor.
As an actor, it is nice to be an all-rounder. Although I enjoy playing a character the most, reality shows give you a chance to pursue for hobby. For instance, Say Shava Shava brought out the singer in me, although I was terrible at it. Comedy Circus helped me get my comic timing right.

Post Kumkum, one thought you would be part of more soap operas. But you chose not to.
The only reason was because it takes a lot of time. During Kumkum, I was always working throughout the month and I desperately needed a break. I had also just gotten married and needed more time for myself and my family. But I have taken up a television serial called Chanda Kanoon which is a weekly feature and doesn't take too much of my time.

What's coming up next?
It's a comedy film called Padduram, directed by Ajay Monga.

Juhi and Sachin: Action packed honeymoon

Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff tied the knot in Jaipur on February 15 this year. Soon after which they headed to New Zealand on March 10 for their honeymoon and returned to Mumbai on March 27 . We caught up with them to find out about their adventurous trip, which was wholly planned by good friend Shilpa Sakhlani.

"IT was very nice and very relaxing," says Juhi, "we needed a break desperately as it was a while since we had one. We had both been shooting continuously."
Juhi tells us why they chose New Zealand for their honeymoon, "The best thing about New Zealand is that you can hire a car and go wherever you want. Many of our dear friends, including Shilpa Sakhlani and Hussain and Tina, suggested we visit New Zealand as they have already been there. It is a very adventurous and fascinating place."

Talking about some of their adventures, Juhi says, "For me, the most interesting was the Minus Five Restaurant of Queenstown. The restaurant is completely made of ice - everything inside. They also have ice sculptures. And there is a time limit of a maximum of half an hour which a person can be inside as it is extremely chilly."

As for Sachin, he had immense fun skydiving. He says, "You jump from a plane that is 12000 feet above the ground and after about 45 seconds, the parachute opens. It was a very exciting experience."

And there's more; Juhi adds, "There was this 'Shot over jet' which was a jet boating through a river was called 'Shot over'. It was very fast and the way they steer it is amazing. At one point, the boat almost turned 360 degrees. Another adventure we had was the helicopter ride. We traveled through the mountains, past glaciers and eventually landed on a place full of snow."

Ask her about the naughtiest thing they did and Parmar says, "There were many but we really had fun at Hanmerspring, where there were many pools with temperatures of 38 degrees Celsius, while the outside temperature was 2 degrees Celsius."

Juhi, a self-confessed shopaholic, managed to bring home some shopping bags even though New Zealand isn't known for its retail market. She says, "The only place where you can shop is Duniden, from where I picked up some clothes, shoes and good woolies."

Though the couple was abroad, they didn't miss out on good old Indian food thanks to planning from Shilpa Sakhlani. "Shilpa deserves all the credit for arranging the itinerary. Her brother and bhabhi own a service apartment in Vonaca where we stayed. Her bhabhi cooked great Indian food which we really enjoyed. That made our stay at Vonaca really nice and pleasurable."
