Gaurav and Mouni, one of the contestants of NDTV Imagine's Pati Patni Aur Woh clear the air regarding rumors that state they have called it quits.

After the news of Rakhi apparently ending her relationship with Elesh made headlines, the latest news going around in media circles is that even another couple of NDTV Imagine's upcoming show Pati Patni aur Woh, Gaurav Chopra and Mouni Roy have separated from each other.

As per a tabloid report, Gaurav and Mouni cannot see eye to eye now, and want to part. The reason stated was Gaurav's continued relationship of sorts with ex-girl friend Narayani Shastri. It was also reported that Gaurav and Mouni were always seen fighting over trivial matters when they were shooting for the Imagine show in Goa.

Telly Buzz spoke to Gaurav Chopra who simply trashed the news. He said, "The news is totally baseless. Mouni and I are very much together. It's all rumors which are being spread to create hype about the show. But I personally feel the show can do well without it, as it has the capacity to get good TRPs."

Gaurav further adds, "When I first heard about the concept of the show, I thought this is different. I thought about all the fun time that I'll get to have with Mouni along with the innocent children. I was genuinely interested because of the sweet emotions involved in the show. Once again, I genuinely feel that such a show does not need such fake publicity and the thing about me and Mouni parting ways is baseless!"

We also contacted Mouni who says, "It's all rubbish. That's all I can say."

Explaining the need to spread such a rumor and the one which stated that she is 'insecure about Narayani', Mouni states, "I've done Masters in Communication, so I understand this is all the ploy of the production house people to generate interest among the audience. Although it beats me why I would have such a reaction towards Narayani!"

Well, did we just hear it due to the X-Factor?

Celebrity Galore in Diwali episode of Pati Patni aur Woh..

Close friends of the five celebrity couples, Hussain and Tina, Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawatra will be seen in the Diwali episode of Imagine's Pati Patni aur Woh..

Diwali with the five celebrity couples in NDTV Imagine's upcoming show Pati Patni aur Woh is indeed going to be memorable, what with their best friends coming to celebrate the festival of lights with them!!

According to our source, "Hussain Kuwajerwala and wife Tina along with Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawatra will be seen in the Diwali episode of Pati Patni aur Woh. They come in as surprise guests into the houses of the five celebrity couples. All of them celebrate Diwali together".

We tried contacting Tina Kuwajerwala, but she refused to comment on this.

However, Manav Gohil confirmed the news and said, "Yes, we had been to their houses to celebrate Diwali. But I can't reveal anything more".

Pati Patni aur Woh will be launching on 28th September at the 10.30 PM slot on NDTV Imagine..

recently-engaged couple Rakhi and Elesh.

If rumours are to be believed, Rakhi and Elesh have called off their relationship, but sources from the production house say that there is a twist in the story.

Apparently, Rakhi and Elesh were caught on camera getting cosy and intimate during the shoot of NDTV Imagine's reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh. During the shoot, Rakhi was made to wear an empathy belly to have a first-hand experience of pregnancy. She felt the effects of pregnancy like morning sickness, swelling of feet, backache, etc, but she was touched by the concern Elesh showed. He took good care of her and ensured that she was comfortable. Elesh earned brownie points from her, by doing the household chores to ease her burden. Within a few hours they let their emotions get the better of them.

Apurva Agnihotri and Shilpa Saklani will be seen in the reality TV show Pati Patni Aur Woh.

Shilpa Saklani and Apurva Agnihotri are returning on small screen after a long gap, and for the first time the duo will be seen together in a reality show called Pati Patni Aur Woh. The duo had been happily married for many years, but still there is no woh (baby). They still want more time to extend their family. But that surely won't stop them from trying their hands at parenting, even if it means taking a baby on udhari!

You both are making an appearance together after a long time. What made you take up this show?

Apurva: This is something not attempted on television, which makes the whole thing very exciting. Handling a baby is an unknown territory for us. Let's see, how we handle this.

Shilpa: It is a different ball game when you have to take care of the entire stuff of a baby. Who is going to handle what department?

Apurva: Both of us will be taking care of all the departments. For now, we haven't been assigned on who will be doing what.

Shilpa: Just imagine if the small baby is for 8 days with you, aap ki toh band he baj jayegi…

Apurav: Babies know the touch of their mother, and at this point you give them to some unknown hands, it's difficult for them, as well as for us also.

For who are you looking forward to, a baby girl or a boy?

Apurva: I am looking for a cute baby girl. We know it's not going to be a cakewalk for us, but still eagerly waiting for the shoot to start.

Shilpa: Looking for a cute little baby doll, as then I will keep dressing her and making her look beautiful, like we use to do in our childhood days with dolls. Boys like to play with machine guns, which disturb me a lot.

Apurva: I would love that.

Shilpa: If my son brings a lizard, I will first pass-out and then lock him in the loo for sometime.

But hypothetically, who will be taking care of the baby and who will go out and work?

Shilpa: My hubby is very loving and caring and thus, he will do all the stuff. I am sure he will be a good manager of both the worlds.

Apurva Agnihotri's pregnancy woes!

Television actor Apurva Agnihotri is yet to become a father in real life, but the actor has already had a brush with the ordeals of pregnancy when for a reality show he donned an empathy belly to experience what a nine-month pregnant woman goes through.
As part of NDTV Imagine's new show "Pati Patni Aur Woh", Apurva and his wife Shilpa Sakhalani, along with four other celebrity couples, are required to go through various stages of parenthood.

In the first few days of shooting, the female participants had to don an empathy belly, but since Shilpa couldn't do it because of her back problem, Apurva had no option but to pitch in and he doesn't have too many good memories of it.

"Initially I thought it would be a walk in the park. But within half an hour my back was aching, my head was spinning, I was giddy, I couldn't walk and neither could I lie down," Apurva told IANS, while sitting in his colourful and well-maintained villa, hired especially for the show.

"I was hoping it would be removed off my chest in a while because I am a man and because I wore it only due to Shilpa's back problem. But I had to wear it for around one and a half days. It was traumatic, but then I managed somehow.

"The belly was really heavy, around 15 kgs. And the last thing you can do with it is sleep. You actually feel that someone is sitting on your tummy and shivering and you just want the person off you. It was bad," he quipped.

Apurva, who is best remembered for playing the bad boy in Subhash Ghai's "Pardes" as well as for essaying the role of Armaan Suri in popular TV show "Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin", is otherwise quite happy to receive "free training" on the show and so is his wife.

"We have learnt a lot in the infant stage. From A-Z, we are completely trained (as parents) now. I can be a nurse or a nanny now and can give tips to my friends. It's perfect guidance and free training for us," said Shilpa.

Asked why they decided to take up a show like this, Shilpa said: "The incentive was the novelty of the concept. It's a never heard or seen before concept in India. It was also a break for us from singing and dancing shows, from repetitive, scripted dramas that looked fake, seemed fake and made us feel fake. Thankfully the concept was different, that's what brought us in."

Even after getting twin kids for the infant stage of the show, the two actors are not complaining and are rather happy with their decision to participate.

"Parenting skills is one aspect of each other we didn't know. Now that we are in this set up, we have seen how well both of us will react in such a situation. The bond between us has been strengthened more and that's one plus point of the show till now. And we hope to start a family soon after the show," said Apurva.

She became famous as KT of Kyunki... The fame went to her head and she began throwing tantrums on the sets, even after the serial got over. People got to see this side of hers on Zara Nach Ke Dikha last year.

Debina Bonnerjee marriage proposal

Debina Bonnerjee, who we last saw in Ramayan, is delighted with her new reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh for more reasons than one.

While the actress got to have a new kind of experience, she also got engaged to her boyfriend Gurmeet on the show.

She tells us about the marriage proposal: "I had never imagined that he would propose to me through the show. It was very filmy; he went down on one knee and asked me 'Will you marry me?' I said yes," she says. "Later on, he spoke to my dad and told him the good news. I'm now waiting for our parents to meet."

Debina also enjoyed the experience of taking part in the reality show. "Everything was new, but we had faith in ourselves that we would do our best. The show will do well because of its originality. We worked so hard to do our chores that we sometimes wondered if it was real or reel-life."

The actress had to cook food while Gurmeet had to buy vegetables for us and food for the baby. She says, "Our baby was very good but we had to clean its potty ourselves as there were no maids. We couldn't even scold or beat the baby because the real father would immediately show up. It's very difficult to clean up other children's potty and I have realised that we won't have children so soon."

With all the work on the show, Debina ended up losing five kilos. "There was so much work and I had to take of our baby, so my weight naturally dropped to 53 kg. I hope I maintain the same weight."

Looks like the show worked for Debina on all counts.

Shilpa on Pati Patni aur Woh

Shilpa Sakhlani-Apoorva Agnihotri are ready to be parents on screen for their upcoming reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh. Shilpa and Apoorva spoke to us in details about it.

Apoorva says " What excited me is that handling a baby for the first time in my life is something different. Anything which is unknown or I had not experienced before is always exciting. And we accepted this show to have an experience, it has a different concept. Babies are going to be most interesting part of the show, they are very unpredictable. There cannot be any fabricated entertainment here."

Shilpa says that she has an experience of handling babies in the past."I did take care of my brother's babies or even my cousin's babies but that was for a limited time. This is a completely new ball game altogether. We have to do this task."

So who will do the big job in taking care of the baby?

Apoorva replies "She will work, she is going to go out, she will take care of the kid, she will clean the potty, in this show I will just back her. When you are with kids the big challenge is that they cannot talk, we have to understand that what- why they are crying, what is their problem, we have to keep focus on them for almost 24 hours. When they are awake you have to be awake. You entire schedule gets changed. Shilpa adds "Even though kids are going to be there for few days, it is more than enough for you, as they will bajao your band in that duration."

Apoorva says:"Like some time back one baby was crying and in those five minutes the couple was so tense, because of that they were trying to find out what exactly is wrong with her. If the baby is of eight months old that baby is aware of the touch of her mother and here these babies will be with different people suddenly .It is not going to be that easy."

Are you looking forward for a girl child or a boy?

"Girl child, I am looking forward to have a really sweet baby toddler, where I can watch the baby for the whole day and that baby can do the same thing with me, you keep kissing the baby. I really want a very cute doll type baby and I can decorate her whole day, I will make her wear frocks and tie her hairs in plaits. I am mostly dreading the phase when you get a young boy in the house. All they want to do is play with machine guns and there are questions about all sorts of weird stuff on TV, those questions of girls I can answer but questions about machine guns and all I can't answer, then they will want to pick lizards and make me scared so I am just dreading these things. If my son comes with a lizard to my house I will pass out and then lock him in the loo. But I am very positive that it is not going to happen," quips Shilpa.

You will have a small budget in the house, so how will you manage that?

"It is better if we think less about all those things, because since we have accepted this show we have to do all these things. Why we need to stress ourselves by thinking about it. My husband is a very hard working fellow, I am sure he will do that here also."

Shilpa informs that she is a good cook but if Apoorva has to cook she will only get to eat a variety of eggs. On the other hand Apoorva says that he is a baby at home.

The shows will have all the stages right from pregnancy till handling a grown up child. The show is expected to start in September end.

Yes you have guessed it right we are talking about the show Pati Patni Aur Woh. We all know the nautanki of Rakhi and that can be seen in each and every episode of the show. Our khabroo from the sets reveals one incident which reminded Rakhi about herself.

"Rakhi got the son and Debina was the only one with the daughter. This is where the two met and also thought of their children's marriage," informs the khabroo.

Elaborating more on the incident, our source, "Rakhi came in the house of Debina with her son. Both the mothers and their children sat on the couch busy chatting. While in the midst, Debina's daughter just slapped Rakhi's son and there was some hullabaloo."

"After a while Rakhi took his son and left but before going she told Debina jokingly that her daughter is just like her (Rakhi) and she will be a perfect bahu for their family," the source grins.

You seem to be in a pitiable state in Pati, Patni Aur Woh...
I feel I've been through hell. Once Swayamvar got over, I thought with this show, I'll get to know Elesh (Parujanwala) better. But it didn't turn out to be what I thought it would be. Taking care of a child like Jay is a huge responsibility. So far, I knew how to dance, act, but had no clue what it takes to clean a child's bum. Elesh only added to my misery. The only areas he could prove his worth were dishwashing and romance. I had to do the rest.

Seems like you are preparing the ground for starting your own family...
It goes without saying that I've matured a lot. I'm more hands-on with the daily chores of married life. In fact, I'm so attached to the child that I've even refrained from giving interviews to the media when my kid was crying. At the same time, I've consciously tried to not bond much. In the past, everyone I'd loved — my father, mother and even boyfriend Abhishek — left me. Main zindagi se aur zyada umeed nahin rakhti. Yet when certain couples would fail to look after their child on the show, I would be very annoyed. But starting a family doesn't top my list of priorities. I'm rather scared now. I'm not marrying in the next three years.

It's speculated that your relationship with Elesh is over...
I'm a little upset with him. If I'm putting in my cent per cent, I expected Elesh to put in at least 70 per cent. But it goes without saying that Elesh is a nice man. Lekin hamesha achhe log apke liye utne achhe nahin hote. He did nothing for the child. Moreover, his Hindi skills are suspect. Usko Hindi ayegi toh hi toh woh bachha kuchh seekh payega!

But then, Elesh and you did kiss on the show...
I had warned him at the very beginning that I'm an Indian girl and closeness before marriage is not acceptable in our culture. He agreed. But there came a time, when he knew that there's no way I could run away from the show. It's then that he kissed me. Let's accept that I too am a human being. If Elesh touches me, I'm bound to respond. Main koi barf nahin hoon. Rather, I'm a volcano. After kissing, Elesh told me, 'Sorry baby, you are my fiance'. In fact, four times he had joined our beds and four times I had separated them.

The show ran into trouble what with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights sending a notice to the makers asking them to stop its telecast on the pretext of child rights violation...
Now, this is really stupid! If parents don't have any problems, why should anyone else? The other day, Jay's mother called up to thank me as the child has got an offer to be part of a film. In fact, I was the one to tell her that she shouldn't be pressurizing her child at such a tender age! There are a lot of shows, which have child actors/anchors. The same rules should hold true for them as well. I think certain people are trying to gain mileage out of protesting against the show.

Your mother, Jaya Sawant, was seen shedding tears that you didn't invite her on Swayamvar on the very first episode of Bigg Boss...
My mother has bagged the offer to be part of Bigg Boss because she is my mother! People don't know what I've gone through as a child. I don't regret not having invited her to my swayamvar. We are both on level ground now, with she not having told me about taking part in Bigg Boss. She's going to realize my worth and understand how difficult it is to earn money. So far, she has only treated me like a moneymaker. Since 10, I've been earning money. I not only paid my college fees, but also that of my brother's. I even got my sister married. At some point of time, I would serve food at wedding for a meagre Rs 100. God bless my mom. I still feel for her. Just that I'm never going to return to her.
