Sonia Kapoor's cameo in Kumkum
Sonia Kapoor of Parrivar fame will be playing an inspector (Revthi) for the first time in KumKum. She has entered the show to solve a murder mystery and thus the entire Waadwa family will come under suspicion.
About the role, Sonia says, "It's a cameo but I'm enjoying playing the role. It is of an inspector who has come to solve a suicide case in Sumeet's family but later finds out that the person was murdered. love this role because it has some standard and is not the typical saas-bahu saga. I am bored of playing revengeful characters."
On the duration of the cameo, she adds, "Such roles are like projects which have a certain time limit. My role will last for one month. As it is I have finished my 15 days of shoot."
Have you done any research for this role? "No. As an actor I have tried to display my natural skills and acting talent. I believe there must be some clarity in language which is the essence of such kind of roles."
Apart from Kumkum, the actress is playing a negative character in Parrivar and a positive one in Jersey No. 10. Expectedly, the actress is finding it very difficult to manage her time and hence prefers doing cameos.
