Written Update - 5th June

• Megs butters Aai and borrows one of her saris
• Kekti-Chamcham scene
• Megs tells Avi that he's useless and makes him run around like a servant
• Pranay offers Radha a lift
• Megs arrives at Mandira's house and is in awe
• Ishita throws a vase at Radha and insults her

Megs comes out of her bedroom and upon seeing Aai cutting vegetables in the kitchen (you're right Sravs – someone or the other is always cutting vegetables) immediately starts her nautanki. She tells Aai that she'll cut the vegetables and takes them up of her. Aai then proceeds to fold the clothes but Megs interferes there as well and asks why does Aai need to work when she (Megs) is there.

Aai gives her the trademark odd look. Megs compliments Aai's sari out of the blue and asks if it's new. Aai looks puzzled and says that she wears this sari everyday. Megs laughs nervously and says she didn't even notice.

Clever Aai asks what's the problem – there's no need to go round in circles. Megs starts by saying that there is nothing, but then hesitantly adds that she wants one of Aai's saris. Aai asks what for when Megs explains to her that she's going to a friend's house for dinner and promises that she'll return them by tomorrow. Aai is puzzled and asks why does Megs wants to borrow hers when she's has such beautiful saris of her own? Megs begins to look a little irritated but covers it up and says they're not as beautiful as the one she wants to borrow.

She pushes Aai to get the sari who leaves after one of her looks. Megs wonders behind her back that what kind of Mother-in-law she has; for one sari she asks so many questions.

Aai brings the sari and Megs instantly becomes happy and thanks profusely and tells her that she's the best Mother-in-law in the world. Megs is about to leave when Aai asks her what about the clothes and vegetables? Megs makes up an excuse that she'll get late but will take care of all this when she comes back.

Hospital…

Chamcham is lying in the bed with his foot up in a bandage and, as usual, singing!

Kekti comes to check on him and immediately Chamcham stops singing. He blabbers and jokes about with her – asking if she's come to give him a sponge bath? But she should be careful as he gets tickly; and when he gets tickly he also tickles the person back.

Kekti looks at him sarcastically and tells him that if he even lays a finger on her then she'll break his leg as well! Chamcham grins and says she can do that – but then he'll lie on this bed for another six weeks and she'll have to come everyday to give him a sponge bath.

Kekti says she'd rather jump of the top of the hospital. She then asks Chamacham if his hands are okay. When he says they are she hands him the bath material and asks him to do itself.

Radha's house…

Megs is struggling with the sari (very pretty Btw; who would have known that Aai owned something like that!) when she notices Avi sitting and yawning on the bed. She snaps at him asking why he's always sitting idle and tells him to come over and help her. Avi says why me and Megs asks sarcastically that are you a prince? Or do you have Mehndhi on your feet? (Haila, My mums dialogues!)

Avi comes over grudgingly and starts helping her to sort out the pleats. But he pulls a little to hard and Megs almost falls down and pushes him away saying that he can't do a thing right. She then hands him the mirror and asks him to hold it for her. As she turns to get her necklace, Avi starts admiring himself in the mirror and when Megs turns around she snaps at him again asking if he's the one who'll be wearing the jewellery.

Avi laughs and says if she tells him to then he'll do that as well. But one look from Megs and he shuts up, turning the mirror over for her. Megs places the necklace over her neck (I'm sure also borrowed from someone) and then asks him to help her with the clasp.

Avi points out that h can either hold the mirror or help her with the necklace. She looks irritated and exchanges the necklace for the mirror and turns around so that he can fix the necklace – but he ends up doing it to tight and she creams at him to loosen it.

Once Avi is finished she tells him again that he can't do a thing and Avi – who looks like he's run a marathon – says that at least he tries. Megs then tells him to get her shoes from under the bed. Avi is stunned at that order but does as she says; crouching down beside the bed in search for the shoes as Megs finishes getting ready. He finally brings them out and places them beside her.

Megs sits down n the stool with her bangles and tells him to put them on; pushing her feet in his face. Bechara Avi does so and also takes more scolding from Megs who yet again tells him that he can't do anything and keeps telling him to hurry up.

Finally she's finished and is pleased with the results, though her smile slips of her face when she spots Avi through the mirror who sits down sulking on the bed. Megs immediately whirls around and starts blasting him saying that only because of him she's had to borrow this sari of Aai and this jewellery from others. If he had actually worked and done something she could have actually brought all this. But no; you just like to sit here idle and put your feet up. Avi and grins and nods at this when Megs stamps her foot onto his and tells him to stop shaking his head like a donkey.

She tells him she knows what's going on in his mind – he's wondering when will this problem (i.e. Megs) go away. Avi again grins and nods and Megs goes to strangle him; but storms away after stamping her foot in frustration. But she turns back and pulls Avi's mobile out of his pocket and tells him to ring her at 7 and not to forget otherwise that will be his last mistake.

Outside hospital…

Radha is walking on the road when Pranay pulls up beside her and offers to drop her. Radha declines the offer as she's a little nervous around Pranay but he insists seeing as they are both going to the same place. When Radha still doesn't agree, he gets out of the car and says that if she doesn't get in then he'll feel that she still hasn't forgiven him.

Radha says it's nothing like that and after a second Pranay tells her that if she really feels uncomfortable then he won't force her. He also heard what the nurses said in the hospital but it didn't affect him so why is she worried? He reasons with her that just for what they say they can not change their lives – so it's best to just ignore them. After that it's her decision.

Radha says it's nothing like that and agrees to go in his car. Pranay smiles and says 'that's like a good girl'.

Mandira's hosue…

Megs opens the gates and is stunned by the size of the building in front of her. She walks up the pathway and looks around her in awe. Just then a guard comes up to her and asks if she is Meghna – she says she is and allows the guard to lead her inside.

Megs goes in and is again stunned by the lavish design. Mandira snaps her out of her thoughts and asks if she had any problems getting here.

Next scene shows Megs seated at the dining table looking at the vast assortments of food in front of her as two servants in uniform serve the food. Mandira notices and asks why is she staring at the food like this. Megs says she was just wondering that there was no need to do all this. Mandira smiles and says she did nothing. Just gave the men to the chef who prepared it all.

Mandira then asks Megs to start.

Megs starts and tries to copy Mandira trying to work out how to eat the food. Just the Megs phone rings who doesn't realize it until Mandira points it out.

Avi is on the other side who grumbles that first she told him to call her and now she's not picking it up.

Megs searches for the phone and says to Megs that she hates these mobiles as she can never get a moments peace. She finally answers the call to hear Avi's voice who asks her where she is. Megs informs him that she is at her friends house when Avi tells her to come home as even Aai is waiting.

Megs replies by saying that she had old him she would get late and asks him to quickly send the car and the driver. Avi is surprised and says he's talking about Aai – not 'gari' (car) and asks if she's been eating sushi again?

Megs says that they have three cars, can't he said any one of them. Avi is still confused and says that it's Avinash talking! Forget cars; they don't even have a cycle. Megs then just cuts the call leaving Avi utterly confused.

She then moans to Mandira that their servants have cars, their dog has a car; but when she needs one not a single one is available. Mandira asks her to cool down and tells her that she'll drop her of. Megs wonders that she can't do that as the truth will come out.

Megs says that it's okay; she'll go by taxi but Mandira insists and says that it's final.

Pranay's house…

Ishita is sitting on her wheelchair, flicking through her magazine as usual when Pranay and Radha enter. Radha greets her and Pranay asks her how she's feeling today. Radha smiles and says she thinks madam must be feeling better today. Pranay says of course – after all you're here to look after her. Radha says it's not so and Pranay says that it is, let's ask Ishita. He then asks his wife that who is burning with jealousy and crushes the magazine in her hand. She asks if they came together and is not pleased to hear Pranays answer.

She turns her wheelchair around and throws a vase at Radha's head as Pranay gives Radha some instructions. He immediately turns to Ishita and asks her angrily what kind of childishness it this. Ishita retorts that she may be disabled but not stupid and knows exactly why he found a young and beautiful girl to look after her – not for her sake, but for his own.

Both Radha and Pranay look at her stunned as Ishita continues by sayng that why act when they both know that such a nurse has been kept to brighten up his nights.

Pranay screams her name but she tells him not to scream as the truth is always bitter. Pranay asks her if not his, then at least keep Radha's 'izzat' (honour?).

Ishita smirks and says you should only give izzat to those who are worth it, and he knows how much she deserves izzat.

Pranay says that she can not defame a girl like that when Ishita warns Radha that she will not let a ' bazaru' (i.e. a prostitute/found on the streets) like her to flirt with her husband; nor let her snatch her husband away from her.
