Prads , the way I see it he is just clearing ITA's name! ITA is his reputed baby , it only makes sense he is trying to clear the air!😉

And yes I do not find his statement about Nadal lame , its true and thats the way of life!

As for why Prasanth Bhatt being on the jury , he is the creative head of a national channel , been in the industry pretty long enough to be perhaps eligible for the position!😕

I am not saying Samir Soni did not deserve to be nominated , he did , there maybe various reasons (valid or not valid) for his not being included😕. Parichay is off air , there are plenty of shows on air , they may have decided to honor the ones on air. ITA has always given Samir his due before.

We are upset I agree but if we really want S2 happen , it maybe wise not to make an enemy out of everyone on the way!😉 This is just my POV!😃

Had Parichay been neglected in the story category, I would have had no qualms. It sure doesn't deserve. But come on why is acting being linked up with the story.

As far as shows ending and people not getting nominated is concerned, well the actors of IPKKND have been nominated, this show ended last november I guess. The best actor jury last year went to the actor of a show that had ended way back before the awards took place.

This certainly cannot be termed as a reason.

As far as justifying ColorsTV goes, this the only thing he can reply. You never know what happens behind the screens.

Just had a look at the nominations. If anyone says that some actors out there nominated deserves to win, then sorry may be they need to look up at the definition of acting in the dictionary.

And TRP's of a show are not counted in nominations because I see some shows on SonyTV getting nominated.

@SuperV :Exactly we never know what happens behind the scenes , do we know for sure that COLOR's influenced ITA? If not why make such allegations?

If I am not mistaken ITA gives the audience a chance to nominate actors , maybe not enough people voted for Samir and Keerti? Because Parichay was running through a bad phase and people had quit watching?😕🤢

That Rafael Nadal tweet was for me😛

I don't call that lame, but it was a bad reference.

Now I am not saying this because I am a fan of Sameer or anything like that.

If Nadal fails to qualify, it is his fault that he didn't play well. I don't think anybody would ever question Sameer as an actor.

Parichay didn't deserve a nomination for the best story, I completely agree with this. It sure didn't. But Sameer never failed as an actor despite the weak story line. That is the trait of a good actor.

But why are we linking the story of a show being linked with the acting of an actor?

As far as more people getting chances is concerned, well didn't Roger Federer win 5 straight wimbledon titles? So this can't be a reason.

Agree that TRP's are not considered for nomination, because the ones with very low TRP's have still been nominated.

Regarding the ColorsTV tweet, I guess there is no other option but say this😛

You think this way, there might be people who think otherwise 😛 We can't influence the thinking of others.

The nomination started only after Parichay ended.😉

We had many people who were into this.

Plus I see lesser popular shows getting some.

Didn't we do our best when it came to polls and other stuffs?

Am sorry but the nominations started in the end of february, when Parichay probably had one of the best tracks running, but damn some people (don't want to get into that) it was getting completely neglected.

Yes Parichay did make amends and show promise towards the end but since it was neglected and not promoted it suffered not just in TRP's but at these nominations too?Isn't that a possible scenario?

I am saying what if lack of promotion for the show affected SS's nominations?I believe ITA lets the audience nominate eligible candidates.

Don't we look for logic when it comes to our shows?😉 Oh yes we do and we fail to get it more often than not😡.Now thinking logically when we accuse ITA of resorting to backstage activities this year , then it wouldn't be logically incorrect to conclude that perhaps these backstage activities happened in the previous years too? That does kinda tarnish all those awards SS got , doesn't it?😕 Someone(another actors fans) could throw that back at us , its never hurt anyone to exercise caution!😉

When a channel fails to promote a show , alienates it , it stinks ! Especially considering they never treated another show the same way before.😕
