Well, Sasural Simar Ka, Balika Vadhu, Madhubala and Uttaran have managed to attain and pretty much sustain TRPs of 2 or above and that essentially translates to profits for them. Compare this to Parichay's flailing condition at the 1 mark after the change in timeslot, then they are obviously more profitable for the channel. Its all about TRPs and the associated money, does not matter if in the course of this they keep showing trash in the name of tv serials that are currently on air.

But Jay honestly, how likely is that? Another channel will possibly NEVER pick up on left over shows of this channel. A new show is promoted with the presentation that it will have a new and fresh story, I really doubt another channel would be interested in picking up a show which pretty much ran its course in terms of content. However, if someone can pitch a new story, with the same cast (talking about ONLY Samir and Keerti here) then we can hope for a new show on another channel.

d show which has replaced Parichay s giving TRPs less than Parichay even after 1 mnth of its launch..so is it not giving them loss??

Also they took one show off air frm 7 pm time slot n r airing repeat in this..its definitely loss to them..

everyone know tht Parichay trps fell due to time slot chnge..shouldnt they hv done some scheduling arrangements before axing our show..

I am not sure how they decide on the weekend shows and the rest but with the daily soaps it has been very obvious from the beginning that the Colors channel only entertains the audiences demands till the show itself is bringing in money for them. The show that replaced Parichay is too new, so obviously they are not going to axe it so quickly even if it is not getting them any profits. And as far as I remember even Parichay itself didn't have the greatest TRPs in the initial months, things only changed after Kunal Siddhi got married.

I am not trying to play devil's advocate here but they have a money driven mindset and us fans can do nothing about it. Anyways, going by the way they treated Parichay towards the end it was VERY obvious that they didn't really care much about the show itself. Rajcheerfull was probably too busy being cheerful about the rest of their shows, some of which promote all kinds of sadism 🤢

@red: It was the curse of the Big Boss. Colors is so obsessed with that mind numbing show that they did not care about Parichay's fate, they only wanted to lure the audience to watch Salman Khan and big boss, another money minting project for them. Blah!

But yes if SS-KN come together I don't care about channel or time slot. EK certainly needs to stay far far away. I know she is the one who gave them to us but then she is also the one who ruined it all to great extent. Well why not SS produce a show himself

Sorry to burst your bubble Jay, sadly those other characters were not just figments of our imagination, they actually existed, no matter how hard we try to forget them. OTTs ki OTTness, Veena ki kheer, Seema ka bhashan, Raj ki 3rd class comedy, Gaurav ki chindichori...It was all real...😆

Samir did say he wanted to, lets wait and watch if he does :)
