The produce of karnataka as per the region, Ragi(millet) and rice is the staple diet of kannadigas. Few dishes and savories which the kanndigas enjoy,

This dish is an accidental invention, it is said that the left over potato curry was included in the dosa to make it a hearty meal for a bunch of hungry customers. This new dish became so popular that masala dosa became the signature dish of the hotel and as we say rest is history😉 Recently masala dosa made it to '10 dishes to try before you die' compiled by Huffington post. 😃
