In the Dr's cabin
Kunal: Doctor is everything all right?
Dr. Kunal I am afraid not.. siddhi fell directly on her stomach and she has been bleeding a lot. Her BP is very low right now and that makes it risky for us to operate right now We will give her medicines to control her BP and then operate tomorrow morning..
Kunal: Right doctor.. But siddhi's pregnancy had been going so well.. So everything will be fine right?
Dr. Mr Kunal.. actually..
Kunal interrupted
Kunal: Dr please save the baby.. this baby means the world to siddhi and me.
Dr: We will try our level best.. But ..errmm.. Kunal I dont think you are understanding the gravity of the situation.. Along with the baby Siddhi's life is also at risk.. Realistically there is a 30% chance that Siddhi and the baby may not survive.
Kunal had maintained his composure till then But the doctors last statement broke him completely
Kunal: NO!! that cant happen.. Siddhi ISNT JUST MY WIFE.. SHE IS MY LIFE.. NOTHING CAN HAPPEN TO HER..PLEASE DOCTOR.. PLEASE!!!!
Dr: Mr Kunal..please calm down.. you have to stay strong... We will do our level best...
Kunal came out of the doctors cabin looking shaken. He was shocked to see Veena yelling at and scolding Sia.. he immediately ran to them and hugged sia who was crying helplessly repeating again and again how sorry she was
Kunal: Bas Maa!
Veena: yeh anaath tere liye humse zyada important to thi hi.. par apni patni aur bache se bhi zyada important hai!!
Kunal: Maa please leave.. I have too much to deal with...
Veena: And who is responsible for that.. this girl..
Kunal: Mom leave this minute!!!
Veena went away fuming. Kunal sat down and hugged Sia who was badly shaken
Sia: Papa,, sab Sia ki galti hai.. Mummy aur baby theek hai na..
Kunal: Sia sab theek ho jayega.. and jo bhi hua.. aapki galti nahi hai..
Seema siddhi par doctors kal subah operate karenge.. Tu Sia ko ghar le jaa.. main yaha par siddhi ke saath rukoonga
Seema: Par Bhaiya aap akele
But Kunal insisted. After Seema and Sia left Kunal went and sat by siddhi's bedside. He gently stroked her hair and placed the other on her belly. He felt anguished at not having been able to protect his siddhi and their baby. Memories of their time together flashed before his eyes which soon became wet.
Kunal: Siddhi you know I cant live without you. Before you came into my life there was a void in it, a void that you filled.
