Given that the bruising on Kunal's arm was minor he was discharged the next day. At home Siddhi changed his dressing and helped him get into bed. As she was walking away Kunal held her hand,
K: Kal se theek se baat nahi ki hai. At leasst talk to me!
S: I dont think there is much to talk about.
K: What about your decision that we shouldnt have a baby!!! isn't that nig enough?
S: So are you willing to leave the case.
K:NO but listen to me
S: Then there is nothing to talk about.
K: Damn it siddhi. you know how much i love children??!!! and u know i'll always protect you and our child with my life.
S:HOW?? when you wont protect your own life how will you protect us.
A week later.
K: Siddhi I am leaving aaj court ki hearing hai...
S: HEARING??!! I dont believe this. Ek hafte pehle aap par goli chali aur aapp.
K: Siddhi I have to go
S: Kunak Chopra if you go to court today you will come back to an empty house. I will leave your house forever
K: Siddhi listen to me
Just then Kunal's assistant called
K: Siddhi I need to go right now. We will talk in the evening.. just hang on.
By tying down his shooting to Khurana Estates Kunal was able to strengthen his case. He finally had enough proofs to nail down the malpractices and was able to win the case.
The courtroom full of Dombivili chawl resdients erupted in claps. They came and hugged Kunal and a few of them hoisted him on their shoulders. Finally the oldest resident of the Chawl Bimla Tai came to Kunal
BT: Beta tune aaj jo kiya hai, hum woh ehsaan kabhi bhi nahi chuka paayenge..
K: Kya maushi beta bhi kehti or ehsaan ki baatein karti ho. Yeh mera farz tha..
BT: Jug jug jiyo... Tumhari har chaah puri karega bhagwan
Kunal was eager to get home and share the news with Siddhi.
Kunal came home
Kunal: SIDDHI!!! I did it!!! I am so happy today
He didnt get any response. He looked all over and realized that siddhi had actually left. He immediately rushed to Kapil's house
Ka: Arey Kunal jee aayee.. Maine siddhi ko samjhane ki bahut koshish ki.. par woh.. aap usse baat kar lijiye..
Siddhi was in her room. sHE was staring at the photos in her room.
Si: Congratulations Mr Kunal Chopra, another feather in your cap. Looks like you made the right decision by choosing your career over me
K: Siddhi you know how much i love you..And i cannot choose anything over you.. But I needed to do this.. I became a lawyer so that i could people fight over injustice..
S: You like fighting against injustice right? So fight the injustice in my life. My parents died when I was 8 years old. 8!!! That was the age I learnt what death was. When I grew up I fell in love with a wonderful man like Anand and he died on the day of our wedding leaving me traumatized. Then I found my soulmate in my husband. I began loving him and we decided to start a family.
But my husband doesnt prioritize US. For him his career is more important than US. He is willing to put his life at risk without thinking about me..
She pointed to the pictures on the wall and began crying
S: I lost these people: my parents, my fiance'but I had no control over that!!! But I will not support you in wilfully endangering your life. I WONT!!! So unless you can promise me that you will stop putiing your life in danger for cases, I WILL NOT come back..
K: Siddhi i cant make such a promise...
S: Fine then please leave!!!
K: SIDDHI!!!
S: Please leave!!!
Both Kunal and siddhi missed each other a lot. But they were unable to bridge the gap created by this difference in opinion.
Next week it was Ganesh Chaturthi. The residents of Dombiwili came to invite Kunal and Siddhi to visit the Ganpati at their chawl
BT: Beta Siddhi kaha hai?? tum hamesha uski baat karte ho.. socha tha aaj usse mil sakenged..
K: Woh maushi woh apne bhai ke ghar gayee hai kuch dinon ke liye..
BT: Sab theek to hai na beta??
K: Haan!!!
BT: Beta tum kitne hi bade lawyer ho jhoot nahi bol sakte
K: woh hamaare beech mein kaha suni ho gayee thi case ko lekar.. koi badi baat nahi hai.. main zaroor aaonga ganpati ke darshan karne..
All the chawl dwellers were upset that Kunal was facing problems in his own life because of tryong to help them out. They decided to call siddhi to their chawl too..
Siddhi: Ji aap log kaun hai?
BT: Hum Dombiwili chawl se aaye hai.. HUM kunal ko ganpati pooja ke liye bulane tumhare ghar gaye the. waha pata chala ki tum kuch dinon ke liye apne bhaiya ke ghar par ho.. to tumhe bhi bulane chale aaye..
Sidd: Arey iski kya zaroorat thi.. Kunal zaroor aayenge.. main shayad na aa paaon... woh main..
BT: Beta bapa ke darshan ke liye naa nahi bolte.. yeh saree tumhare liye hai.. isse pehenkar zaroor ..
S: Yeh saree.. main kaise..
BT: kunal ko humne apna beta maana hai.. to tum bhi to bahi hui na..
Siddhi accepted the sari and touched Bimla Tai's feet
S: zaroor aaongi main
Kunal turned up to join the festivities at the Chawl. The whole chawl was reverberating with music and was beautifully decked up. And the Ganpati.. It was very awe inspiring. Suddenly he caught sight of siddhi..She was looking so beautiful wearing a traditional maharashtrian Saree..
Kunal: Siddhi tum yaha..
Si: woh BT bulane ayee thi mana nahi kar payee.. Kaise hai aap..
Kunal: Main theek hoon tum kaisi ho?
BT: Baatein baad mein garna.. abhi pooja ka waqt ho gaya hai...Aur pooja tum donon karoge!!
K: hum kaise???
BT: Aaaj agar yeh chawl khadi hai to tumhare wajah se.. bas koi sawal nahi..
Kunal and Siddhi did the pooja together. They were then pulled into the dancing and before they knew it the7y were laughing and dancing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. The festive atmosphere and being together.
Suddenly Siddhi noticed blood stains on Kunal's sleeves. She rushed him to a corner and pulled up his sleeves to see that there was blood oozing out of the dressing.
S: KUNAL aapne dressing change ki thi???
K: siddhi woh main.. jaldi mein.. bhool..
S: Bhool gaye.??!
she asked someone to get a first aid kit and began changing kunal's dressing..
S: bilkul bhi nahi sochte apne baaren mein.. medicines bhi nahi le rahe honge.. Apna khayal kyun nahi rakh sakhte aap kunal???
K: tumhari aadat jo pad gayee hai.. siddhi come back please.. i am incomplete without you..
Siddhi started moving away.
K:Atleast hear me out
K: I dont prioritise anything above you.. how can i?? when you are my life!! I cant stop fighting these cases.. kyunki agar har insaan apne baarein me sochega to in logon ke liye kaun ladega??
S: Par kunal aapko kuch ho jaaye to??
K: Siddhi zindagi aur maut hamare haath mein nahi hai.. kisne socha tha ki apne shaadi wale din anand ki maut ek bomb blast mein hogi.. par main laah parwah nahi hoon.. jab se mujh par goli chali hai i have taken police protection.. for myself.. for you... unhe dekh rahi hai.. woh undercover security gaurds hain..
S: u didnt tell me!!!
K: Kunal chopra of yesterday wouldnt have done that.. But today i have to do that. because i value my life.. i value my relation with you..I want to live with you.. I want to grow old with you.. I cant give up my principles.. But that certainly doesnt mean that i can give up on US..
Siddhi please come back.. my life without you is worse than death..
S: shh.. dont say such things..I am sorry kunal.. i just got so insecure about losing you that i stopped thinling straight.. you are right.. Life and death isnt in our hands.. instead of fearing about what can go wrong.. I want to enjoy every moment I have with you..
I love you so much Kunal.. i'lll come back home..
Saying this she hugged him..
K: You love me a lot right??
S: of course..
K: then you wone beat me up for making the house a mess..
S: KUNAL!!!
K": I am kidding.. i love you too siddhi.. love you the most in the world.. and i am so glad you are coming HOME..
