Just as AD never saw or interacted with Siddhi till now, Siddhi too has never seen or interacted with her son before. She is new to this too. It is one thing to have raised the child since birth but completely different when you meet your child for the first time after 9yrs. Siddhi feels she can exert her right on her child just like any mother from the very moment she meets him but she will also learn slowly. The more time she spends with him, she will realize that AD's got his own ideas and he is a little person with opinions and will learn to respect him and gain his trust. I don't blame siddhi for her behavior because she is also confused as to how to handle a 9yr old boy that too a notorious one!! She will come around and so will AD!!!

Im a mother and know pouncing on child never works. how can she pounce on him for everything... try to drag him to leave the house, question his report card. She should be patient, earn his trust, be loving. She seems to think she can dive into his life and take control (literally).

I feel she is being very unrealistic. This way she wont get Anand to do anything her way.

Your views?

Siddhi never had chance to spend time with her Child and she is first time mother, she in experienced so she does not know how to take care of kids and how she should behave to win him over.

A mother has a child in her arms since day one and love affection and wisdom develop gradually. I think it will be little unfair to compare Siddhi with you...😊😉.

I mean she never saw him cry at night when he was infant, change his diapers, see him walk first time, laugh say his first words... She missed all the fun

I agree Salman. Siddhi is not wrong in behaving such way as it is very natural.
She was in jail for 9 years so for her things are same as she left. It is right for her to expect her child will listen to her right away and she has full right on him. Is it ideal? NO, but it is very much reasonable for her to expect that. Yes she needs to give some time but she too needs some time to adjust to whatever has happened. Until she fully accepts reality; this is how it will be.

I don't know about ex or current but have mixed feelings about that scene.
Yes Siddhi was right in saying Kunal was always best in school & gold medal etc. But dear Siddhi why couldn't you remember thus when you made deal with devil? You your self undermined his skill by nit revealing the truth & trust him to handle it.
Whatever what's gone is gone. Still hope is CVs shine that gold medal soon enough. Last time they started & left it God knows where 😕

Sorry Jay, Do not agree with you. She knew how clever Kunal is but the fact remains that he was in Jail and could not do anything. If he was out of jail then yes, possible. Siddhi just realised how Evil Richa can become, if she can kill her own brother than she can kill anyone in chopra family so the deal she made was the wise decision.

@ TM - you are correct. You can not force motherhood on any child. Everything takes time. The poor kid must be so confused thinking achanak ma kahase tapak gayi and now he has to deal with her way.

@ Shumi - again your analysis was to the point. Kids these days don't like to be told. They want to learn from their mistake and we as a parent have to decide which mistakes they can make which they can not.

@ Salman - you hit the nail. Yes she has missed the golden period of motherhood and now is facing the reality- though not a pretty one. But I thought Siddhi was shown as the person with lots of patience. All of the sudden she wants to change things over night. She does not have magic wand to do things. She has to wait and first try to make friendship with that little kid rather than telling him what to do and what not to do. Until and unless she understands him he will never listen to her.

Salman once again I agree with the deal but why not let Kunal know about it once he was released. Then both could've figured something out but what's gone is gone.
Why talk about that is not going to change now & no clear answer.
