Ramya, reading your "extremely sorrowful" story, I've become suspicious of my HP notebooks... 😆

One I had purchased last year & another-one 2 months back...& I haven't faced any such issues from them... (Though, I'm running to "touch the wood" so that my laptops don't become jinxed like yours... 🤣 🤣)

HP has been my favorite firm for all computer related peripherals & till date, I haven't been disappointed by it.. 😃

You download a software called Hiren's Boot CD.

Its an ultimate tool that would give you an exact information regarding issues in your notebook...

Last but not the least, I'm too using BSNL's broadband at home & its too running flawlessly..

However, some problems may arise at the server end, so you can make use of "Hotspot Tethering" facility of your smart-phone to share internet connection between your Laptop & Cell...

Very Well said Shobz.. When one path closes, we have another opening up elsewhere..
I did own HP laptop 5 yrs back , currently using Toshiba and IBM.. My POV is all major brands are good , just depends on usage and luck.. Batteries do run out within less than 2 yrs and along with hard drive are the 2 most common problems with any laptops..

Ramya, sorry to hear about ur other 2 problems , adapter and most importantly LCD screen..
When murphy is very happy , we get hit when warranty runs out.. ...

Hence i no longer spend too much on laptops as within 2 yrs, they are junk anyways from technological point of view, so always feel better to replace with a new current advanced one 😃
