First of all thanks for taking this effort to bring about the much needed protest ! And I really hope this brings about the much needed improvement in the show.
Like most people I have my issues with the pregnancy track, I have had issues with the fact that with one night of physical intimacy Siddhi ended up pregnant, I am not saying this is impossible but yea the statistics may not be in favour.Even then this could have been excused if this hadn't been the norm in every serial , movie that has been churned out in the past 30+ years.I agree the show is male centric ,but does being male centric simply mean he can impregnate at the very first attempt? So is the entire focus on his virility? Is this show about his victory against his competitors in the race of life or just about the race his sperms indulged in with each other?
The court case had great scope to show the brilliance of the gold medalist but sadly again he was sacrificed at the altar of 'NARI SHAKTI' . Surprisingly this altar was demolished soon enough and everything was the left to FATE.
The kidnapping and subsequent escape had so many flaws in it.Though I must admit lot of great emotional scenes too.The questions is when you embark up on to show something should you not make an effort to see it turns out well, why show something half baked just for drama? Remember no matter how fresh and good the ingredients are , they all have to go into that cauldron in the right mixture at the right temperature for the right amount of time to end up as a fabulous dish.
Coming to most atrocious track - 'miracle pregnancy'.One question what do you take us to be , don't forget what Annie said 'WE ARE THE BOSS' , your show relies on viewer enthusiasm whether you like it or not.If this is about entertaining yourselves, call up the actors any Saturday or Sunday evening as per all your convenience and stage a personal show replete with all your mundane idiosyncrasies and have a good laugh.Spare us the torture and most importantly why waste the bandwidth of a national channel?
You want to show the pregnancy why don't you at least deal with the baggage that accompanies it.Why is a doctor not yet consulted , why is no one wondering if the mental and physical trauma suffered by Siddhi would have any effect on the baby's health ? Why is no one questioning the doctors as to how it escaped their notice? See I agree everyday we hear of medical marvels but even those try and answer the questions poised .Why ignore the looming questions? Give us logical answers and we might make our peace.Like many said pay attention to the finer details, everything matters.the continuity and connectivity of scenes , dialogues .You have a very intense audience out there , cater to them else pack your bags go home and write your memoirs. While we are at it one piece of advice , print only a few copies you may not find many takers.
Honestly SINAL need not a baby now but to figure out the path their lives are going to take.Kunal should be focusing on his career not sitting at hope and playing expectant Daddy dearest now.Does Kunal's Parichay restrict itself to having loving wife and kid alone?
Where is the gold medalist we all have being dying to see for the past 8 months. Why not develop a track that showcases the professional lives of SINAL? Why the insistence on domesticating the tiger. If you wanted to turn him into a house cat why did you make this show in the first place?
Seriously could you not find a medically consistent approach to deal with Veena's mental inconsistencies?Did it have to be direct lift off from GEM? So is Parichay a tribute to a show which as per you guys seem to be a classic while the audience beg to differ?
And you guys seriously believe its only an extra marital affair that will threaten the foundations of a good marriage? Which world do you people live in ?And for that you get a new mini skirt clad lollipop sucking newbie. When you could not do justice to the existing pool of talent on your show why rope in and spoil the chances of the new comers? In case you are not aware you have two tracks in the same show dealing with extra marital affairs , one existent one imaginary.
Complaints can go on and on , but I would like to end saying please reminiscence on the thoughts raised by Pooja. At the end of the day does your work make you proud .If your answer is a no , make amends , if it's a yes find a new job.You are not cut out for this!!!!
We love the show , but if promises are not lived up to then we have no option but to move on!!!!
