'A man can also be a victim of sexual harassment'
Keerti Nagpure
Ekta Kapoor on the current highpoint in her TV show Parichay

Ekta Kapoor's Parichay on Colors has a high point right now... Siddhi ( Keerti Nagpure) is fighting to save her husband Kunal ( Sameer Soni) from the false rape case filed against him by his ex-lover Richa. The current track highlights sexual harassment of men in society. And as Ekta says, "Yes, a man can also be a victim of sexual harassment even in a patriarchal society like ours. We always talk about Women empowerment, but there is a 'behind-the-scenes' life where the man also faces harassment. This is our way of bringing this concern out to the masses."

Talking about the character Siddhi, she adds, "I have very high respect for a woman like Siddhi and I look forward to meeting more women like her, who have a mind of their own and can stand up against any wrong."

And what is the one message that she is communicating through this show? "When a woman decides to achieve something nothing can stop her." About Keerti who plays the role,

Ekta says, "I was very confident that Keerti was the right choice for Siddhi's role from the very first day. More than age or experience, it's talent that matters. There are many such examples in our industry. Also when you show confidence in your actors, they are motivated to perform better."

And how is this message relevant in a "male-centric" show😕

Thanks for sharing Tanu.

after Aetraaz movie ..I dont think any one has any doubt about men getting sexually harassed.🤣 why Ekta wants to prove it again🤣
talent thing is nonsense...i think she never sees Parichay but just look at its TRPs... Keerti has long way to go in this section
