Well I am putting a few words in Siddhi's diary today because the day was a lot more emotionally charged for Siddhi..
She got the reassurance that she had not loved in vain, that the man she loved truly deserved her love and affection. And maybe even more..
The one person she was working hard for, for whom she wanted to win the case, he was the one person she had let down and let down big time, as she said I have taken both of us one step backwards.
She tells Seema, aaj unhone mujhe nahi daanta isliye mujhe bura lag raha hai, aaj galti meri thi unhe mujhe daantna chahiye tha. She was feeling guilty and sad of having put kunal on a backfoot.
Kunal rightly understood her pain, he knew she genuinely wanted to help him and was fighting for him, he also knew who she was pitted against and what the father daughter duo are capable of. Hence he said, this was the reason why I didnt want you to fight the case..The case invovles high stakes for Kunal and Thakkral and anyone who fights for him will have to go to hell and come back..he probably knew that more than the practical challenge, it is going to be an emotional challenge for her and this was just the first day for her.

While I used to watch jassi I had written a few lines,
kabhi kabhi kisi ki burai hame bura banne par majboor kar deti hai aur
kabhi kabhi kisi ki achai hame acha banne par majboor kar deti hai
in the same manner, Siddhi was overwhelmed today by his care, not a word said about his case..because as Siddhi also knew..who so ever's fault it is, the consequences will be borne by Kunal alone. But he didnt even mention his case..rather he was consoling her. He probably could understand the pain she was going through and he just listened to her, no gyaan no dialogues just consoled her.
Just wondering, who needed the hug more today, Kunal or Siddhi, he probably wanted to thank her for the effort she was putting in to help him win the case.
