Learning to Love the Hard Way - Shame on you CVs!!

Love sometimes strikes us unexpectedly, in the most ordinary places for the most never-on-the-radar kind of a person. Sometimes it strikes you like a dope, intoxication ' its effect increasing slightly with each dose till you hit the floor. But no matter how it strikes, you do come to know when it does! Then it's up to you to accept it or reject it. Be happy about it or wonder why it happened. To do something about it or turn your back on it. You can run but you cant hide! Sooner or later it catches up with you and doesn't matter how many times you shrug off the thoughts of that one person, he/she continues to rule your world in all waking or sleeping hours.

But this is real life. On the silver screen we have some folks like Kunal who haven't yet realized how the love has struck and how badly or may be he has but he is in denial about it. So be it! What would happen is that he will learn it the hard way! After he is done fighting off a case for raping the reptile (I don't like to call her witcha.. not all witches are bad. Hermione Granger wasn't bad!), after he is done feeling indebted for yet another favor done by the Mrs.Chopra. After he is done wondering how he could have liked The Reptile ever! And thus the sinking feeling you have once you realize how inept you are at judging people! After he is done with the humiliation of standing in the same court as an accused where he once shone as a gold medalist lawyer! Is realizing your love for your lawfully wedded wife worth all the trouble? The practical of us would say no but the diehard romantic would rejoice even after all this.

Off course all this could have been prevented had Vakil Sahiba opened her mouth and spoken about what she felt or if she had never left his husband alone to attend a party with a woman that had challenged to bed her husband in 24 hours! If she could have just barged in on their so called romance and snatched him away by his collar. A witness to the fact that they were fully clothed and did not do anything.

But alas, you need drama and how can you get it without reducing the main protagonist of the serial to a rapist. How can you CVs give us blaring background music and revolving cameras without making fool out of a man that was sober enough to commute all the way back home, fight with his wife, stop her from leaving and then sleep with her but then was left confounded to find broken bangles in the bed next morning. One who assumed what he did was a mistake, very conveniently forgetting how the same woman had reciprocated his every feeling, touch and move the previous night!! I hate it, hate it and absolutely hate it when they do this to the men on their shows to assert the fact how mahan and pativrata the women are. I am all for woman empowerment and blah but it need not be achieved at the cost of assassinating the very core of the show ' Kunal Chopra! How much more guilt can a man shoulder, really? He is guilty of being an irresponsible son, he is guilty of his brother's death, he is guilty of marrying his brother's would be wife, he is guilty of falling in love with her, he is guilty of sharing a passionate night with her and now he will be made guilty publicly of raping a woman that had no dignity remaining to rape to begin with!

If at all there is anyone to file a case for attempted rape, it should be Kunal. The Reptile tried to rape him. she stooped to a level where she assumed Siddhi's identity just to trap the man. She spiked his drink. She staged the drama! Why cant we have The Daddy Reptile to fight a case to save his daughter!

But the deed is now done! So at the least I am expecting a case that's fought without making mockery of Kunal Chopra! If not, I am removing my signature!!!!

Wow! What a post. Brilliant. You couldn't have put it better, Kshiti_Kunal. I too was infuriated by how the show is progressing and making an intelligent lawyer as Kunal look like such a wimp. This was supposed to be the story of a man, a fallen hero, who triumphs. What a script that would have been! Sadly, it's been reduced to yet another regular drama. The brilliance of Samir is not being used to potential and Siddhi, is emerging as the main protagonist. There's no denying her good work but I had wanted her to be second lead to Samir Soni. Till that happens... I'll watch it for Samir Soni, but the excitement/anticipation has gone out of the window. So whether its aitraaz or any other clone where's the thrill of the new? I still hope they develop it into a mature script and cast aside the usual scheming woman, divorce, molestation angles. Arghhh. Yes, I too "hate it, hate it and absolutely hate it when they do this to the men on their shows".

ya it's natural or rule in soaps making leads dumb n suddenly einstein.
seeing overnight magic happened over siddhi. hope kunal's character too revives. it's marketing gimmick to say something n sell something.
they say it's story of fallen hero n but the way they chose is safe typical soap way tat becos of parichay of different women(richa,siddhi) in man's(kunal's) life how the hero fallen(becos of richa) n triumph(becos of siddhi).they might want to show even men r not exception too.their life too depends/revolves around women. they need mother when kid,wife when adult n kids may be son/daughter when aged.
at end of the day it's a soap for entertainment n business irrespective of sense,logic which are foreign for entertainment n business.tats why it doesn't matter to viewers n team 😊 it's my pov.

Yes ,all could had been avoided if Siddhi has fought for her haq and life before with the same new found confidence she has now...'...

It would had been too way better...
and there are still other ways they could have made Kunal realize his love for siddi...
Both of them doing a case against each other ,the Divorce case which Kunal was handling would had been a nice one for them to speak out their thought and their feels on that issue too...
Like that they could have open out their feelings for each other...


Instead they choose a case where Kunal is blamed for such a cheapest one and Siddhi emerging as a jhansi or tigress with this...


For me this case will have a lighter effect than the effect the before said case would have...
The one I said before doesn't make both of them fall anywhere but will enhance their skill,nature and love...

here ,in the second one ,its again going to be a one sided one where Kunal is on debt alone...
That too he has to go through shame, worst allegations against him...
seriously the character doesn't deserve this though he is dumb in realizing the love for his wife...
that realization can be made in a different way.

as you said hope ,they don't spoil him much with this track or regard...


thats why I said in written update thread, that more in store for us,
Some expected, some known,some unknown and most importantly some sensible and some Insensible (where this case and siddhi Keeping mum come so far)...

I love both SiNaL and i see this show for them...


I want both to shine and not to degrade anywhere...

Wasn't a supporter of Kunal or Siddhi alone...Love SiNaL together...

I dont wish one to shine at the cost of other...

I have no issues to show how a woman figures in a man's life. Her importance as a mother, wife, sister or friend cannot be overlooked or undermined but this can be done without making a zero out of hero 😆

they showed Siddhi mahan anyways in the past without making a complete idiot out of Kunal.. and thats what i would expect going forward!

Its a bad thing to happen to a guy who refused to sleep with his ex-gf because he is married and his wife is waiting for him at home. especially since the said marriage is (for him) loveless and the said woman shies away at their first physical contact.

In kasam se i never supported Jai walia after he sleeps with his sister in law. Intoxicated or not, he crossed his boundaries and he died for me. Whatever Bani chose to do with him, he deserved it to some point but for a character like Kunal, he doesnt deserve this. 😭

it's man's world.in movies men r shown smart,larger than life n women r dumb n just objects 🤢. so wonder howcome women r still ruling tv 😲🤢😆 which is not sense n real n practical in real world.now i got it tats y many r calling it idiot box n soaps(keeping soap) 🤢
