this serial is a remake of kudumbbam tamil serial telecast before 10 years back in sun tv.ekta kappor was the director of that serial.she modifies this serial little and make it as parichey now.😊

I think Kudumbam was the tamil remake of Ekta's own hindi serial "Ghar Ek Mandir". I don't know when these serials were telecast.

Is the story being followed ditto up until now? then i guess folks can share their views on that old show so that CVs realize that people have realized. Hopefully they get the hint to make it different which is how this was advertised.

yes and ekta remaked kudumbbam as ghar ek mandir .

kudumbbam was telecast on sun tv from 1999 to 2001 and ghar ek mandir on sony tv from 2000 to 2002

I remeber watching Kudumbam when I was schooling... That was a hit tamil drama...

Guess the lead was named Mauli... if my childhood memory is right ...
