Parichay is a new drama series on Colors. It premiered on 9 August 2011 at 9:30 pm. It is produced by Indian television's soap queen Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. The story is based on Kunal portrayed by Samir Soni. He is very complex person, who tries to get past all the failures in his life. The show is a hit amaong urban and middle class audience. Currently the show is second in its slot and beated Ram Milayi Jodi of Zeetv in the same times slot.

wow thats great news dear thanks for sharing it.. it deserves first place... yesterday when i was watching the serial in break time i changed the Chanel and understood why it is not getting much popularity on IF... ISPKND also telecasting at the same time..to tell u shortly it is competeting with ISPKND i guess. there is very big following for the serial on IF. may be thats why..

ISPKND airs @ 8p.m. not @ 9:30p.m...@9:30p.m. YRKKH air on star plus and GEET on star one...And the most imp thing both have huge fan following(if m not wrong)!

is it😳😳??? i did not know.. but i did saw ISPKND coming at the same time of PArichay... i dont live in india so here it may be some changes in telecasting the serials in star plus... and ofcourse geet has very big following on IF... i have no idea about the YRKKH though...

right now Parichay has competition with YRKKH(it has its own loyal viewers who watch it regularly during its ups n downs) only.but still parichay is managing to be nearer to it in trps(like this wk parichay is at 2.44 and yrkkh at 3.28-once KBC is over its trps will be divided among these two.previously some members came to our forum n said that they like both kbc n parichay but since kbc is for short period n they want to watch amitabh they are sticking to kbc right now)

regarding geet-it has huge fan following in IF but all star one shows have 0.5 or even less trps.this wk geet has 0.29 trp

yaa i agree with you and pray to increase the trps atleast if not on IF... i really love this serial man.. after long time i got to watch a nice serial... with out hug dramas...

I think Parichay is one of those serials which grows on people. I mean If you don't get attracted to it instantly eventually you get hooked to it and it becomes your favorite serial. I think this show has potential to go a long way and I am sure it will. There is so much that CVs can do with this story as they have not only Kunal's personal life that they can be creative with, but also his professional life. In Majority of the show the lead characters don't really have any angle to their professional life.

I am sure this serial will become no 1 soon in it's time slot and eventually no 1 overall.
