The baby is Rehaan's . Naina was just a surrogate mom in order to get Raghu's patent rights back and so that he could start up a new business since they don't have any money. Rehaan's wife cannot convince and was in look out for a surrogate and was willing to pay a heavy amount for the same. Naina agrees to that but does not tell Raghav and now Raghav thinks she betrayed him / cheated while she was still married to him leading them to parts ways. Now after knowing that Naina and the baby 's life is in danger he takes her back to his house and tells Dadi that the child is his as she thinks Raghav is the father of the child. She was in Coma and just recovered and does not know what these were up to and had split up. As per her knowledge this is her grandchild and they are keeping it that way so that she can be happy at this age.
