Well our dear Raghav has been told by naina that she slept with another man and is carrying that man's child ...Now he has nothing to go after to figure out the truth. It doesn't matter to him anymore who the father of the baby is as that is not going to change anything.

If he knew naina was a surrogate ..or that she is not the mother ..then he can dig further and find out the truth ..

if he has no inkling of a possible pregnancy by other means because his own wife has told him that she was with another man ..how can he find the truth?!! ..even so he is making progress and realizing something is fishy based on attacks on her ..No woman would tell her husband that she slept with another man if it weren't real ..so there you go! if naina has said it ...he will only think it to be true ..as usually even if such a thing was true the wife would only lie and say otherwise!

Raqhav does not know as Naina constantly tells him and makes him believe that she is the mother of the child and that the father is another man- (birds and bees) Raqhav trusted Naina from day one and never doubted her and he has taken her word. Why would he start investigating straight away if the horses mouth is herself saying she is pregnant with another mans child.

This hero is also smart as he has bailed out Naina many times and has made Naina move in with her as he knows that Naina and baby life is in danger so is protecting her and baby with out even telling Naina. He isn't obliged to do this.

Disagree Ash..Actually Raghav HASNT been able to trust Naina from day one quite the reverse! He doubted she had an affair with Veer,he doubted she called Parth over for sex and even said so in his monologue..It wasnt uptil Naina went upto him that he thought he could be wrong too..

Its not about whether or not it came from the horse's mouth..its about how much he actually knew Naina to believe that she could do such a thing to him even if she said she did..He never for even once doubted that she might have said this under some external pressure or that the girl who came back to him even after he threw her out midnight just to support him would actually have cheated on him with someone else..Its about how much you trust and know the person you love..Why did he readily believe that she was characterless..And why didnt he doubt about how the patent suddenly came back to him? Not even giving it a thought?
