Star Plus' much awaited new show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' opened up to a good start in UK ratings on Monday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com. The huge fiction starring Arjun Bijlani and Drashti Dhami was watched by 84,100 viewers at 20:00 - peaking at 99,400 viewers. In comparison, its predecessor Siya Ke Ram', which was sitting in the 20:00 slot prior to Pardes Main Hai Mera Dil' launch, was watched by 66,400 viewers on Friday night (final episode). Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' is expected to pick up in the coming days as the romantic track takes off between Naina Batra and Raghav Mehra.Star Plus' new show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' climbed up to No.3 in UK ratings, adding extra viewers since its launch on Monday night.

On Star Plus, Mere Angne Mein' took lead with 107,300 viewers at 18:00, followed by new show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' at 20:00, which moved up to second place with 105,100 viewers and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' at 19:30 with 103,400 viewers. Naamkrann' raked in 102,600 viewers at 21:00.
