thanks for this thread @Pro Di.
It is well known that balaram was transferred from Devakis womb to Rohinis womb. So the 7th child was never really born in the prison. Was it like kans was fooled into believing that the 7th child died just after birth or how was it?

^^Yogmaya devi made it look like Devaki had a miscarriage.
You see, even that was a trick to hasten the arrival of Krishna, and hence this too served a sort of a warning to Kans (his problem he didn't read ;) ).

I prefer to think that Kamsa didn't like the signs he was reading, so he went into denial about the fact that Arya was indeed his killer!

This show is portraying Kans like an idiot, but in reality he was quite shrewd and did read all the signs. He simply chose to ignore them as he thought so well of himself and considered himself even more powerful than God (same deal with all the asuras, lol).

Looks like an idiot too , in fact proper adjective would be " EGOMANIAC "😆

Yeah, don't like his look either. The bald head would be more suited for the role of Ghatotkacha, who really was bald and hence his name, but Kans was not bald. He was a King, and Kings in those days did not shave off their hair as it was considered inauspicious.
