Agreed that being ShiVi's child was part of the craze. But, I also think the audience identifies with characters with a good storyline/who are relatable/have flaws that they themselves acknowledge. Shiva always knew his anger would be his greatest downfall, which made his storyline engaging. Just like Mittu was learning that his softness was causing him to be taken advantage of. Even if the makers did not do the leap, it would've been damn interesting to see Shiva and Mittu try to connect since they are opposite personalities.
It would've been so cute to see Shiva try to teach Mittu kick boxing. Shiva's eagerness to see Mittu kick a potato sack while Mittu complains he isn't interested in hurting the potatoes in the sack would've been adorable. And Shesh could come running over being like, "Pick me! Pick me! Let me do it!!"
But no, we are forced to watch the sleaziest college romance 🤢

Forget about Chutki's triangular romance (because everyone knows Chiku will come back to romance Chutki while poor Mittu will be in the background cleaning up their mess), Shesh/Mittu should've been the main leads. It could've been a brotherly story with Chutki being the antagonist/evil sister. After watching this maddening storyline where I lost a million brain cells from the OTTness, I thought of a better storyline.
As someone else mentioned, it is downright stupid that Pandya Store is still a small store... like, we spent 800+ episodes just to see no change? What happened to all the brothers' ambitions? Where is Dev babu's MBA expertise? Why has Shiva's sacrifices gone nill? Knowing there is not even an extra branch is just about the dumbest thing known to mankind. And now, these dweebs are trying to suggest Chutki has immense business expertise... like lol, she couldn't take the store any further than the Pandya brothers who sacrificed more.
So, in my little universe, none of the OG cast died. They were able to parent; however, the story takes a 20 year leap. Some characters died of natural death (i.e., Dhara from her failed single kidney, Gaumbi from his alcoholism because yikes is that not good for your health). Other characters straight up disappear (i.e., Krish and Prerna who go back to Canada, and Chikoo to Dubai with his birth mom Swetha, and other baddies can die for all I care). In the end, OG characters are replaced with older, veteran actors (since people still have relationship problems). We find out that Rishita desperately wanted Chutki to be the heir of the Pandya Store, but Chutki was irresponsible and only cared about money. So, Shesh and Mittu work together to manage the store with their fathers.
Because of Rishita's closed mindedness, she focuses all her efforts on Chutki and ignores Shesh. Shesh meanwhile finds that love from Raavi and Shiva who he treats as second parents. Shesh himself considers Mittu to be his own and doesn't allow anyone to badmouth Mittu (otherwise he would be there to beat them to pulp). Meanwhile, Mittu grows up to be a well-natured softie who admires Shesh and would do anything for his brother. The two, with their Gen Z attitude, cause Pandya Store to be accessible all over India and internationally since they set up an online website.
TV show opens with the new gen with Shesh and Mittu getting awards for being the most promising businessmen under 30, while Chutki is seen spending money in a shopping mall. Dhaval, and his crew, realize that Chutki is rich (because Rishita doesn't allow Chutki's finances to be cut in any way) and will get a decent inheritance, and so Dhaval tries to sleazily enter the Pandya house so he can enjoy the riches as well.
Blah, blah, blah, Chutki falls for Dhaval's traps because she's dumb as bricks with Rishita's pampering. Shesh and Mittu don't care since they were never close. Lo and behold, after Chutki and Dhaval get married, bam, we realize Dhaval is dirt poor and was in it for the money. Chutki tries to leave, but lol, they are married, so now Dhaval enters the Pandya house. After realizing he's a sleazy dude, Shesh cuts Chutki's finances. Meanwhile, Rishita is pissed that Raavi "brainwashed" her son. Shesh tells his mother off, and Mittu tries to be the mediator but Rishita badmouths Mittu too. Shesh steps in and defends Raavi, Mittu (the characters that actually deserve respect), and limits Rishita's credit card as well. Dev babu's cutout is in the background existing...
Eventually, Shesh and Mittu have a love track. Shesh could fall in love with a girl he originally hates, and Mittu could be with a girl he is initially scared of, like some IPS officer who body slams him on the first meet but eventually grows on him once he realizes how kind she is. Together, the 4 of them could take Pandya Store to the next level, while Rishita, Chutki, and Dhaval cry in the background. Le End...
But noooo....
We get "Chutki is the best businesswoman on the face of the Earth because that donated kidney has X-rays that beam to the sun and back, making even the artic melt at her "greatness""
🤢
