I've heard it's quite common for marriages to break down after the loss of a child. While the situation for Dev and Rishita is different, I think it still applies. Painful memories and different coping methods causing friction.
What RIshita desperately needs, other than her daughter, is professional therapy. But sadly very little chance of them showing this.

I genuinely try not to but still some of the things they show do astound me.
