Till12-13 they are your children, then they start being their own person. Once 16-18 you have to nudge them off the comfort nest. For them to learn, grow.

that’s what Dhara is doing. Todays convo showed how she wants everything & everyone under control.

If anyone seems talking different- she asserts her control on her grown up devars. Blackmailing on the name of parvarish.

The kind of control shown here is both unhealthy as well as dangerous. Dhara being upset about the brothers not siding with her would have been understandable if she had been mistreated by their wives and they had chosen to ignore that, but to wish for them to always go against their wives in any disagreement they have with Dhara is just not acceptable. They should be free to have their own views. Also, them considering their wives' feelings shouldn't be something for Dhara to cry about given how her own husband is. Behaving so unreasonably really does not show her in a very good light.

I don't know how they will end this track but if the brothers are still unable to see their wives' concerns, specially Shiva, then they will always only ever be Dhara's "children" and never good husbands.

Both Rishita and Raavi should most certainly leave that house regardless of their husband's support but I have a feeling it might not go that way. The emotional blackmail and the baby's health might instead make the two of them change their mind. Or maybe Shweta won't be brought back at all if they really are ending the child's role. High hopes!

It is only in times like this that they seem to care about their public image. Maybe they don't want the negative publicity police and child care services will bring them. After all, they do have an impeccable reputation to uphold.

But according to the makers she is still a positive character so shouldn't they at least try to make her look like the selfless person she is claimed to be. Why show her not caring about anyone else's feelings & suffering, thinking she is entitled to taking decisions for everyone whether or not they want her to and wanting to always be her the brother's priority above their wives.

More than priority it is about deciding based on right & wrong and not just choosing someone's side regardless. Always putting one's feelings over those of another is not right no matter whom it is done to. It is also not right to always step in the middle of a disagreement and take sides. Sometimes you just need to let others sort things out on their own.

I did not watch the segment but I thought the question was which daughter-in-law causes the most trouble (or something along those lines).

Even if they are claiming that Dhara's mistakes are a result of her trying to do everything then wouldn't it only be right for her to cut back? Wouldn't her not doing everything on her own and allowing others to share in on her burden be the solution to this?

Also, Raavi being called an angry person is laughable because the problem is that she doesn't get angry enough. She doesn't even react to so many things that gravely upset us.
