Not yet. She is their poster child for rwsp as of now.

No because it looks like a one time thing.

PS has been losing TRP and the slot leader has been going up and down also but SP keeps giving PS a pass.

This is a first for Imlie so they should be ok.

Short story is Barun was leaving the show for other opportunities and Gul wanted to continue with Sanaya and a new ML. Viraf Patel was even chosen to play the lead but audience could not see KKGSR with anyone other than ASR😆
So after countless messages to SP, Gul and Gautam Hegde (writer) and petitions after petitions, finally Gul agreed to end the show with ASR and Kushi living happily ever after 😆

Back then we didn't have Twitter or IG, we managed to pull this through FB, IF, Gul Khan's website and SP's complaint page 😆

Gul had made Barun give an exit interview where he said, was leaving the show on his own accord and Gul had nothing to do with his decision. Poor Gul got bashed so badly at that time. Also she started becoming busy with Qubool hai in Zee Tv with KSG, so that distraction also led her to make a decision to shut the show.

IPK for most part had a TRP of 3.0 for the first 1 year and it was aired at 8 pm slot. But in the last 6 months TRPs dropped to as low as 2.5 and could not come back up again. Also Barun was in and out during the tracks as he had started working on movies at that time and audience/ fans were also missing him in many episodes.

But got to give to the actors of that show, the best ITV cast I have ever seen. They are all still friends to date. When Barun was gone for his movie shoots, Sanaya would take the entire load and have not heard her complain even once. Also Akshay, Deepali, Daljeet, Jayashree T, Utakarsha Naik, Karan Goddwani also supported her splendidly in various tracks.

But after that show, never bothered to watch the subsequent seasons by other PH or OTT version by Gul.

I heard that season 2 was made by Spehere Origins with a different cast. Thank God, I didn't watch it back then😆

To this date I laugh when I remember those days and how active I was in IF and FB and even went to the extent of actively taking part in shutting the show😆

But Gul and Gautam Hegde interacting with fans really helped a lot. Gautam Hegde used to visit IF-IPKKND forum and ask for feedback or contact him through his FB page. I myself have interacted with him😆 He was open to suggestions from fans about what they want to see.

Sometimes I feel how did Arshad Khan, the director (current director of PS) become this bad when he used to be so good back during IPKKND days. Even Kushi, Mami and Bua's comedy used to be enjoyable and no cringe worthy stuff anytime😆

Anyway I hope GHKKPM team gets what they want 😃

Oh I was there and remember that frenzy. They'd already shot the death sequence and Viraf's entry and it all ended up being scraped. The decision was made while they were in UK and Barun had already quit, and was in vacation. They made decision oson Monday for the last epi to be on Friday. Barun wasn't available, so they had to edit it to make it happy ending from some other previous clips.

One thing that I'll say was that TT was still very much there. There were all sorts of teams too. And good old phone calls. Fans literally called SP office non-stop and they had to issue a warning or tweeted about that too. Lol. Isent few emails, but that's it. I didn't really have time for that.

@Bold...the answer is Lalit Mohan. Arshad was AD and Lalit was Director. Plus, seeing some of the BG clips, I wonder some good Shivi scenes get edited out. And Bhabhi is allowed to improvise. Haha sab jhol ✨✨ ka hai. 🪙💰

I am a part of that FD but because I was a literal baccha when the show came out, I didn’t know this was happening in the background! Thank you SO MUCH for ending that show! I would’ve never forgiven that show for killing Arnav otherwise

How can I forget Lalit Mohan? He was awesome. Since I have always seen Arshad with Lalit, thought both were directors, didn't know Arshad was just an AD.

Now I understand why the scenes are not as effective as it was in IPPKND, it was all because of Gautam Hegde's writing, Gul's creativity and Lalit Mohan's direction.

One heck of a show, will never forget those days 😆

Yes we all did, the biggest FD a show ahs ever seen. We were close to completing 10,000 pages in the forum in those 1 1/2 years. Everyday after the episode airs there will be 50 pages worth of posts and will be difficult to participate in the discussions, forum will move so fast.

I have made about 15 lifelong friends and we all still keep in touch to this date and converse, and all of us were mothers of toddlers back then and now our kids are ready to go to college and couple of them have already gone.

It was only because the FD was united, we were able to pull it off. And when it happened, out happiness knew no bounds, we got a happy ending for ASR-KKGSR, that's all mattered to us.
