So during the first divorce track
- Raavi blamed herself for not understanding Shiva
-When she returned Suman blamed her for all the miseries in Shiva’s life and even blamed her for going ahead with the divorce only because she went by what Dhara said that Raavi feels Shiva is insecure. But that was never addressed whereas they made Raavi feel insecure by bringing another girl for Shiva.
-Even Shiva blamed her for not wanting this relationship, the day before the engagement during their confrontation - his exact words - “tujhe ye rishta nahi nobhaani thi”
After she stopped the engagement, everyone except Suman were convinced that Raavi is serious about Shiva. Suman even warned that this will be her last chance to ever be part of Pandya parivar as she will not get one more chance.
During the IVF kaand/second divorce track
- Raavi again was blamed by Suman and Shiva, that both went to the extent of calling her panauti. Both Son-Mother did not believe her at all, Shiva called her jhooti, beimaan, and Suman went to call her gandha khoon, kachra and more.
-Dhara and others knew Raavi would never to do such a thing but no one did anything to support or prove her innocence.
Only because of Raavi’s realization that she is on love with Shiva and sheer perseverance and her constant nagging of Dhara, remarriage happened where Raavi had to tell the truth to Shiva and even question his so called street smartness. Yet again Suman is not happy that Shiva-Raavi united, else why would she be the first one to start the panauti dialogue and now the whole issue has formed into this massive problem.
Also what has Mami done for Raavi, other than raising her, providing food, clothes and a place to stay? 😕 Her love has always been conditional, now Raavi going against her wish has only made her spiteful, waiting to take revenge by separating her from Shiva. I don’t believe any of Mami’s monologues.
We have seen Raavi’s naivety, insecurity, jealousy, dobipan, gullibility, and now panauti.
When are we going to see a strong Raavi full of confidence, self esteem, ready to face the world on her own. Are these reserved only for BhabiMa and Baby? 😔
Also will she have anyone standing up for her ever in her life or will she have to fight all her battles by herself?
As much as Alice is doing great job in all these tracks and she is enjoying doing them, it is now getting repetitive. Kuch toh accha dhikao.
Girls in real world are much more than what they portrayed in the ITV shows. infact 80s and 90s ITV shows had strong women characters. As we have stepped into the 21st century, shows have regressed and gone backwards in terms of women empowerment and strength😔
As a woman myself and a mother of a girl child, can’t seem to agree to any of these. Also the issues the kids these days face in terms of anxiety, stress and low self confidence and self esteem is a huge battle to face and without family’s support, it is impossible to come out of it.
