If you think about it all the worst kaands happened bcz of Dhara & her devar's andhbhakti to her.. Marriage kaand happened bcz Dhara didn't feel like asking to dev about Raavi & then her andhbhakt Shiva getting married to save her face, then in IVF kaand too it happened bcz of Shiva's andhbhakti to dhara that if Raavi is questioning dhara so she's wrong & she must have tried to kill her baby, then here too Shiva blame Dev more than Rishita bcz he's siding with his wife instead of dhara & would even believe him to burn down their paternal store.. For Shiva Dhara is supreme & it just doesn't make sense.. The store he calls his ma, he was ready to mortgage it for dhara's IVF.. This is not some starry connection but toxic one sided relationship & it's wrong on so many levels.. They are trying to make Shiva's whole existence bcz of Dhara.. There's nothing normal or good about it

I know everyone thinks that this fire is introduced to whitewash Deshit, which I agree will happen but not in the way you guys may be thinking. I think Dev will be held responsible and would try to explain himself to the Pandyas but they won't believe him but he will doubt Janu and Motiben. Dev and Rishita will find out the truth about her family and will feel guilty and expose them to the Pandyas, maybe even get them arrested. I don't see Gadha ever feeling guilty about anything, they always make other people feel guilty even if it is not their fault. This time I think Shiva will believe Dev and try to get the truth out of Motiben also. Once the truth is revealed about who set the store on fire, Deshit will return home and this track will end, finally. I think the makers know they have stretched it long enough so they want to do one last big kaand before closing the track. Once Deshit returns home I don't even see Gadha apologizing to them for doubting them but I think Deshit will apologize for leaving them in the first place, Gadha remain the saints and Deshit are whitewashed, everyone except for the audience is happy.
