Which makes them go at a snails pace, but I think with Raavi comparing herself to Rishita, saying dulha change nahi Hona chahiye and shiva being rude to her… I’m hoping they are building towards a track where they show shiva working on his anger issues and showing the depth of his love, because Raavi has, and he has never had to prove his love nor his commitment to their relationship.

They don't have to resolve the drama within the week. Prema Akka would be able to explain it better, but I remember her mentioning that in the OG, Kathir-Mullai (Shiva-Raavi) take almost two years to get to being happy with each other, falling in love & confessing. We wouldn't have minded that slow burn. In fact, it would have been such a different approach, and would have stood out as a love story that has not been explored on ITV, like MaAn.

What the writers are doing is not slow burn, it's slow destruction. 😡

DevTa scene

Dev says, "waise tumhari baat maane ke shuruart na hum hamare baby ke liye school doondne se karte hain, tum hi bola thaa pehle se hi saare planning honi chahiye"

Rishita is laughing and says, " wah Dev, itni bhi jaldoi nahi, ok relax" and hugs him.

Just then Dhara comes to their calling for Rishita ( the door was open)😔

She comes inside anyways.

Dev says, "bhabi aapko kuch kaam thaa,"

Dhara goes to Rishita and says, "jab mein pregnant thi naa Rishita to mein ye karidke laayi thi " shows the chaadar , "aise time pe aise soft soft chaadar aur bright colors acchi lagti hai na aas paas"

Rishita looks at the chaadar and Dhara give it to her.

Rishita's facial expression changes when Dev says ,"bahut acche hai Bhabi"

Rishita's monologue, 'ye Dhara Bhabi abhi se mujhe zidd topna shuru kar diya, chahe jo hojaaye, mere bacche ke baare decision lena ka haq mein innhe nahi doongi"

This is not slow burn, this is them burning the relationship down to ashes😆

Slow burn was Mullai-Kathir and took them 2 years to come together with several ups and downs and have their SR without killing the essence of their characters. In later episodes Kathir even joked about how rocky their marriage was and finally consummated after 2 years of fights, small separations (twice) and misunderstandings. In all this they made Kathir stand tall every single time. He even went to jail couple of times for no fault of his and Mullai stood by him, those times.
