Kanwar brought in the Energy to the show!

Undeniably!

Harminder had set the ball rolling, Kanwar brought in the whole fandom!

I still remember his first scene at Dukaan with maami!

Hillarious & tashan- all combined! with Full on ease! Loved it.

(I am sure for younger fans it was the entry scene - but my buddha auntie mind+heart was just: oh so ye badaawala Rowdy shiva hoga - but I totally fully completely get the craze that scene started 😊)

Kanwar lives Shiva- Love his enthusiasm & how in every scene, track- however lame it is written- he puts his all in it!

Example- that whole bhabhi ka mandir & staring at sleeping bhabhi scene , or recent -Dukaan meri maa & maa ko nilaam scene with Raavi.

(Other actors usually hold back when perfoming knowing: really? my character is saying this? -- for example : Kya? ---- Kho gayi? )

But KDbhai: full josh -24x7! Dil se!

You need a special kind of mental strength for this!

And I applaud Kanwar for that.

Behind scenes, have said it time and again: It is amazing to see such rooted, down-to-earth, connected 'celebrity' in these times! He doesn't feel shy about hanging out with his longtime friends, interacting with them, Sharing & spending time with them. this is rare!

And this is one common thing between Alice & Kanwar- something that makes them compatible!

He is a good son, responsible. Heartening to see him support his family, older brother in challenging times. Also not shying away from staying as is: No showoffs- no pretense - Jo hai - so hai!

Loved how little 'lost' he was post-return -- And how slowly, rather first simple awkwardly He brought Alice home, and the simple mingling & the slow growth of their relationship, and How his family accepted her wholeheartedly ... (and all these we get to connect with through their shares & stories & posts- which again is SO sweet!)

Not to forget the interviews, BTS, posts : He always comes across as caring, responsible, basic, protective, sometimes a little impulsive, Trying to avoid nonsense But always very aware of Lifes ups & downs.

Has always maintained the decorum of this being ensemble cast show ... Has dealt with excessive b/h scene dramas and backtalks with most possible dignity! Some reactions- some triggers are unavoidable, and it is good that of 2 , one does speak up. The aag & paani team! Works!

I do wish Him all the success ... ShiVi has so much more story left, and hope to see it onscreen for long time!

Kanwar is set, I can see him going strong post PS easily!

Shiva and Kanwar are again the same like Raavi and Alice are for me.Shiva who is short tempered yet honest and a person with heart of gold.What I relate with his character is the immense love he has for his family, will be the first one to stand in front like a shield protecting his family from every small and big trouble even if it cost his life.He is honest with his feelings, opinions and decisions and will stand on them on any cost.He is a simple hardworking man working in his family store and does odd chores Needed for his store which he worships like the chief priest in temple does,he doesn’t feel ashamed of doing it because no work is small or big and where he works is his own and do we hesitate do any work in our home, no right same goes with him for his Pandya store.He has very unique bond of love and respect for his Dhara bhabhi because she has brought him like his own kid.Shiva is a very understanding son and has made many sacrifices including quitting his education and dream of becoming an engineer so his brothers could complete their educations without any financial troubles.The above mention qualities of any person who make you fall in love but I fell more because the way Kanwar has portrayed his character with all his layers.His intensity, expression and those eyes expressing unsaid emotions.

As Alice even I love and admire how Kanwar is as a person who is an extrovert, people’s charmer with his rawness, having no fake facade being carried as a how a celebrity or star should be. The second most loved quality is his passion as an actor and taking challenging roles to explore his potential as a actor even the love he has for his craft.He loves to dance but will never danced like a perfect dancer but a person who enjoy dancing and the high energy he has.He cares and loved his loved ones including his family and friends as Shiva loves his family.Kanwar has the same quality has Shiva of not taking anybody’s bullshit but just in a better way handled with maturity and responsibility as person.I relate to him the most because I am like him, will dance like crazy and even make those funny faces even I don’t know the reason I do that but can’t help because our facial muscles itches to do that 😆.Though coming from a famous actors family he has never used any contacts to work or act not even for his debut, everything what he has achieved is from scratch with lots of struggles from rejection to leg injuries where he had been home for atleast a year.

Love Kanwar as he is ❤️

I hope both Kanwar and Alice grow professionally and personally and receive lots of love and appreciation they deserve .❤️❤️

I saw a scene of a beautiful girl who was worried that her curls will be messed up if she jumps from the window.her famous dlg " pran jaaye par looks na jaye ".i chuckled at it. Who is this crazy girl? Then i saw her bike scene with shiva. The chemistry was oozing onscreen.i started following the show and fell in love with raavi.who wouldn't? The marriage track made me feel for her,i bet a tear slipped down my eyes when i saw her trying to kill herself.her wedding breakdown with jag soona soona lage playing in the background will be one of the most beautifully enacted scenes of the show for me.

Then i remember i had seen the actress somewhere else.of course.she was playing a negative role in another show.raavi is completely opposite to pari, yet she nailed it and how.

Then i started following Alice kaushik.The girl who brought raavi to life onscreen.i saw her interviews in Segments, which were usually with kanwar.then i saw a solo interview on sbs live.thodi sehemi huyi thi, and her innocence was visible on her face when she was answering the questions. The actor who plays Rishita walked in and she praised her and hugged her. She said how she loves the character of rishita and they share a wonderful bond offscreen.they danced together and completed the iv.

I would catch a glimpse of her in the reels and BTS of other actors. She was sleeping away on kanwars shoulders in one. She was snuggling with the actress who plays maami in another. She was hugged by the actress who pays dhara in another.

She came across as the baby of PS sets who would take a power nap in between shots.reels? I am too tired for that.

She rarely gives interviews and is a very private person.How i wish I could know more about her.then i saw her KDice live sessions.a calm, sweet girl who would answer everyone patiently, play with kanwars biceps, share a joke with his brother and do all sorts of crazy goofy antics.

Her close knit group of friends, her beautiful posts, be it poetry, be it quotes,be it about how she loves animals, be it thanking her fans or be it for kanwar.her every post and story made me love and respect her more.she never opened up about her struggles, there was a hint here and there but i am sure she has faced a lot and is standing strong where she is now.

She is a celebrity, but feels like she is just a normal girl like you and me who is facing the struggles of life with a smile and trying to better herself at what she does each single day.no glamorous pics( though I would love to see a photoshoot of Alice) ,a simple yet amazing fashion sense,no airy celebrity vibes , respectful towards her fans, cordial with everyone around her,humble and down to earth and an unverified Insta account.yes a female lead of a prime time show on starplus who is too lazy to get her insta account verified.looks like kanwar really has to put the blue tick using a sketch pen! .from loving raavi, I went to loving Alice.i never knew what it feels like to be a fan of someone, because I never was.i would call the people who would feel good or bad because of what is happening with their favourite actors crazy. You don't even know them dude.now I know what it feels like.i want to see her happy, smiling and blessed with lots of success and love.

Pixie this is lovely ❤️ I 100% feel ya. Every single detail you've mentioned, is something that I completely relate to. I can go on for eons about Alice. I started watching the show for ShiVi, it was their chemistry that drew me in, just like it did for so many others. But as I got to know the actors behind these characters, I slowly started growing attached to them. Initially the only thing I knew about Alice was that she played Pari, and I really disliked that character. So watching her play this bubbly little ray of sunshine who had some really heartbreaking moments truly touched a cord within me. It was the complete opposite reaction to her previous character, and that's what made me sit up and take notice of Alice as an actor. As the months went by, she's grown leaps and bounds and continues to amaze me with her skills. But all this is just one part of her - her professional life.

Alice is so much more than that, and she has so many qualities that make her an inceredibe person - her amazing personality, her kind and sweet nature, her strength, her humility, her creativity, her passion for all that she believes in, her love for the simple little things in life (cartoons, unicorns, the colour pink), her tight-knit group of friends, her love for books, her writing, - all of it makes for one fantastic woman. Someone who is so relatable, yet so unique and precious. She is all heart, and I hope she gets all the happiness, love, and success in life ❤️

Ahhh Kanwar... where do I begin?! Another favourite of mine, the other half of the powerhouse that is ShiVi. The first time I watched him on screen was when he played Addu. My Grandma used to watch that show and at the time I remember taking notice of Kanwar when he came in after the leap. But didn't really keep up with the show. All these years later, came across him as Shiva (once again after a leap 😅). Watching him and Alice as Shiva and Raavi had me hooked. Much like it happened with Alice, slowly got to know the actors themselves. While Alice was relatable, with Kanwar it was pure admiration. His performance as Shiva is incredible. The transition from Chotu Shiva to the grown up angry young man has been flawless. Kanwar picked up Harminder's expressions so effortlessly and added his own charm to make Shiva such an amazing character. No matter the storyline, watching him play Shiva has been an absolute treat! He always does justice to the character and scenes, in fact goes above and beyond. His expressions, body language, and emotions are always on point. I truly feel he emotes with his eyes, which is what makes the scenes magical.

Kanwar as a person is a ball of energy. Even though he's just a young guy, he's been through so much and has had a great journey so far. From what I've seen of him, he comes across as an incredibly hardworking individual, and that is what'll take him ahead in life. There's so much to admire in him - his work ethic, his energy, his humour, his crazy dancing, his passion for his workouts lol, his dedication to his craft, his bond with his family and friends, his protectiveness towards his loved ones, his honesty, how straightforward yet loving he is, his humility - all of this make him an amazing person! I hope he's blessed with all the happiness and success ❤️
