After the Loan Kaand and fighting with Jannu, they are all at Pandya Niwas and have dinner and go back to their respective rooms.
Shiva is sitting in the aangan on his cot, in deep thought.
Raavi’s words keeping ringing in his mind
“Acha, nahi paltega naa, toh theek hai, prove kar ke dikha ki tu nahi paltega”
Shiva’s POV
Main nahi jaanta itna sab kuch hone ke baad, Raavi ko itni takleef dene ke baad, uske dard ka ilaaj kaise karoon, kya woh mujh pe kabhi bharosa kar paayegi?
Maafi toh maang li tune Shiva, pann ab waqt aa gaya hai usko yakeen dilaane ka, ki tune dil se usse maafi maangi.
Suddenly, he sees Raavi coming out of the kitchen after cleaning up and keeps admiring her.
She walks towards him and looks at him, staring at her and asks, “Ghoor kya raha hai, khaayega kya?”
Shiva (in mind) : “Poora ka poora”
Shiva snaps out of his trance and starts stuttering “Woh…. Main… woh”
Raavi looks at him disbelief and says, “Kya bakri ki tarah, main main kar raha hai”
Shiva has nothing to say and seeing that he doesn’t say anything, Raavi starts to walk away.
Suddenly, Shiva holds on to her hand asking her to stop saying, “Raavi mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai, yahan baith mere saath” softly. Raavi keeps looking at him trying to figure out what’s going on in his mind. She can see glimpses of hurt, guilt and pain in his eyes and it hurts her to see him like that. They sit in silence for a minute, him holding her hand while he tries to gather up his courage to form sentences.
Finally, he starts to speak, “Yaad hai, sagai ke agle din tune mujhse kaha tha, maine naye kapde Disha ke liye pehene the aur abhi mujhe who peheneki zaroorat nahi, kyun ki woh ab nahi hai yahan”
Raavi’s eyes flare up at the mention of Disha and she starts muttering, “Iss Dishu ke chakkar mein tune bohut kuch kaand kiye hai, mohalle ki gali mein agar woh mujhe mil gayi na, uski toh main……” angrily.
Shiva having heard all this starts chuckling and pulls her closer to him, patting her hand softly says “Shaanth meri Jhansi ki raani, Shaanth”
“Tujhe aisa kyun laga Raavi ki main uske liye tayyar hoke aaya tha, tu toh mujhe bachpan se jaanti hai naa, tujhe lagta hai main koi kal ki aayi hui ladki ke liye aise tayyar hoke aaonga?” staring into her eyes.
With eyes full of confusion, she asks him again, “Toh phir kya mere life tayyar hoke aaya tha?”
Shiva grabs her other hand as well and while looking into her eyes, says “Toh yeh bandar aur kis ke liye tayyar hua hoga, tujhe hi toh pasand hai na aise suit-boot pehen ne waale gentleman type ladke, toh iss liye maine woh sab kiya tha, taaki tujhe main pasand aaoon”
Now, with full of tears in her eyes, Raavi looks at him and says, “Shiva…”
Shiva holds out his hand, stopping her from saying anything and continues, “Main bas tumhe khush dekhna chahta hoon, Raavi. Main jaanta hoon, bachpan se leke aaj tak, main sirf tujhe takleef hi di hai. Aur jabse humaari shaadi hui hai, maine toh tumhe kabhi bhi khush nahi dekha mere saath, woh Raavi jo shaadi se pehle humesha se khush rehti thi, har waqt muskaraati rehti thi, maine usse kabhi dekha hi nahi shaadi ke baad. Aur iss liye mujhe toh laga agar main naye kapde pehen loonga toh tu khush ho jaayegi, pann tu toh aur mujhse chid gayi aur tujhe laga ki main Disha ke liye tayyar hoke aaya hoon”
Raavi starts to hit him with her fists on his chest and says “Gadheda, bandar, mujhe kya sapne main aayega ki tu mere liye tayyar hoke aaya tha, upar se woh chaman chipku Disha tere ird gird aise ghoomti rehte thi ki mujhe toh aise hi lagega naa, upar se uss ne tujhe gaal pe Pappi bhi di thi”
Shiva holds her fists and stops her from beating him, “Main jaanta hoon, Disha ke aane se tujhe bohut takleef hui aur tujhe Maa se bohut taane sun ne ko mila, uss liye main tujhse maafi maangta hai, pann mera yakeen kar mujhe uss Disha mein koi interest nahi tha aur naa hi mujhe usse shaadi karni thi, main toh bas yeh chahta tha ki meri chipkali humesha khush rahe, aur mujhe laga uss ki Khushi mujhse door jaane mein hi hai, aur iss liye maine tujhe talak ke papers bheje, taaki tu apne life mein aage badhe kisi aur ke saath…”
Raavi puts her hand and shuts his mouth and angrily says “Aisa sochna bhi mat, ki main apni life mein kis aur ke saath aage badhaaoongi aur dekha jaaye toh Kaaki toh teri life aage badha rahi thi Disha ke saath”
“Dekh Raavi, main toh Disha se uss raat bol hi raha tha, ki usse mujhse Rishta nahi karna chahiye kyunki main unpadh gawar hoon aur mujhe bohut zyaada gussa aata hai, iske liye usse kahin aur apna Rishta karna chahiye aur meri baat puri hone se pehle hi uss ne mujhe pappi de di. Main toh itna chauk gaya ki main uss samay react hi nahi kar paaya, aur isse pehle ki main usse kuch kahoon, tere gusse ki barsaat hui aur acha hi hua uss ki pappi toh dhul gayi mere gaal se” says smiling with a twinkle in his eye.
Raavi reaches her left hand and cups his left cheek and rubs on it with her thumb, leans closer to him and kisses him on his cheeks and says “Ab dhul gayi” blushing and runs away to their room.
Surprised at the turn of events, Shiva keeps his hand on his cheek and looks stunned.
He gets up and goes to their room and sees her standing in front of the mirror blushing.
He enters and says “Iska matlab maafi mil gayi?”
Raavi suddenly gets out of her bubble and her expression turns into a serious one.
She looks at him and says, “Dekh Shiva, mujhe galat mat samajh na, main tere saath aage badhna chahti hoon, par pichle kuch din se jo kuch bhi hua, uske zakam abhi mere dil mein bhare nahi, aur tune toh mujhse Mukteshwar mein tha naa ki tu mujhe kabhi chodke nahi jaayega, aur phir tune mujhe chod diya, mujhe apne dil ko samjhaane mein waqt lagega ki tu dobara aisa nahi karega” tearfully.
Shiva is sad that she’s not able to trust him, but he understands and promises himself that he will always be by her side and will never leave her again. He takes a step towards her and wipes her tears away, “Tujhe jitna waqt lena hai tu le le, kyun yeh Shiva Pandya toh tujhe kabhi chodne se raha, agar tune mujhse kahan bhi, tab bhi yeh bandar tujhe nahi chodega kabhi bhi” promising her.
He wishes her good night and turns to leave the room and go to the aangan and sleep, but suddenly feels her holding his hand and stopping him.
“Oye Mr. Bandar, abhi kya keh raha tha ki mujhe chodke kabhi nahi jaayega, toh abhi kahaan bhaage jaa raha?” while he looks at her perplexed.
“Yeh humaara kamra hai Shiva, aur aage jaake bhi humaara hi rahega, toh tu bahar kyun soyega”
Overwhelmed by her actions, Shiva goes and hugs her tightly. That night they both sleep with the hope of a better tomorrow.
