Part 1 - I really liked how Shiva stood up for himself against his mother and told her that he won’t marry Disha. He did make few things clear to his mom which I like. Also he checked off one of Raavi’s bucket kist- sneaking into the movies 😆 Loved the way he did it and the reason he told the guard😆

Part 2- He made her sing, yet another wish of hers has been fulfilled. He did it so amazingly. Raavi looking towards for support and him assuring her Also helped her prepare a speech for Mami to avoid her marriage

Part 3 - Holy Moly! What was that? 😆 Raavi had to real push him to get kissed but why dud he have to reveal that he is checking one by one off her bucket list 😔 i really felt bad for the girl. She had high hopes but he just shattered her, I am so glad she is stronger, not giving up. Now let him scratch his head to find item# 11 from the list. After how be behaved with her, he is going to have a tough time. I don’t want Raavi to reveal her 11th wish😆

Lizzie, have to say that you have retained the quintessential Shiva ❤️and Raavi which the show failed to do

3rd angle especially with Shiva’s character who has been butchered. Now the track is over hopefully show will bounce back with rectifying his character.

Now gotta wait till you update the next part😆

Hey Prema! I actually didn’t tag anyone on this update 😳. You’re probably referring to an earlier tag where I wanted some questions about the show answered! 😆 But anyways I’m glad it got you to this page to read the update! 😳

I’m so glad you enjoyed Shiva taking a stand and telling his mother exactly what he feels. I find it hard to believe that any grown ass man would just meekly submit to someone’s wishes like Canon Shiva is doing (unless it’s what he wants too 😆) especially from I understand of Shiva’s character. I’m really happy I was able to maintain the essence of both Shiva and Raavi’s characters.

Thanks for bringing up the Bucket list and the way he helped her achieve some of the items on them. I’m especially proud of the moment where he lets her practice on Mami and the part where he supports and reassures her when she’s on stage. So I’m glad you brought up those bits and enjoyed them!

The last part certainly makes it look like Raavi’s been through an emotional wringer. So I think the next update needs to redeem Shiva a little bit! 😆

I hadn't planned on writing that Pandya family scene initially but then I read the WU for the ME and thought I need to fix this family's dynamics a little! 😆 Idk if I was successful but I cannot stomach toxic characters like Suman and cannot abide by how writers sacrifice their own beloved characters at the altar of TRPs! 🤡

I'm also glad Raavi's words to convince Mami sounded authentic to you. I try to put myself in my character's shoes to figure out what they might really want. My writing usually results from that. Every thought and every reaction I put down are built from this. But it works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. I think it's completely justifiable having a character act a certain way and then I get readers challenging what I made them do (like it's likely to happen with this update) and then I'm left stuck. Most often it's not cerebral and it's more of taking a plot in a certain direction because only I know the future trajectory of the story.

About Pandya family, yes there are many things need to be fix in the show but they don't do that. Many of the viewers are not at all happy with how suman has become so toxic recently but they have come up to adjust with it 💚

Regarding Raavi's words - as I have said before they were perfect. Being a girl, you really can connect to it. You really have way words and because of you, my vocabulary is getting updated 🙈🤍🤍

So I have another canon question. Shiva was about 11-12 when he dad died right? And then it’s a 10 year leap on the show. So that makes him only 21-22? 😕

I'm so so glad you loved the entire Shiva-pushing-Raavi-to-sing-and-encouraging-her-when-she's-scared-stiff bit of the update. I thought that brought out their characters and their feelings towards each other (especially Shiva's towards Raavi) very well. He pushed her out of her comfort zone and even though she hated him for it, in the end she knew it was a good thing. It had to be, else why would she put it on her list?

I'm also glad you enjoyed their conversation and the build-up to the kiss. As for the last bit, I was inspired by the 365 days gif that Prats posted in one of her reviews. I simply had to find a way of inserting it here! 😆

Yes, Raavi is heartbroken, but since that scene is described from Raavi's pov your sympathies are automatically going to Raavi, and that's okay because the readers don't know yet what Shiva's thinking and feeling in that moment. I'll leave that for the next one may be.

But I'll say one thing - this tussle between them, the one-upmanship, the need to win will keep playing between them. This is what scares Raavi, but it's also what defines their relationship - this constant push and pull dynamic. It will never allow them to relax, and like I've said before, it's what will put the spice into their relationship. So the anger, hurt, apologies, kissing and making up and the deep, underlying passion - all of this is going to keep repeating like a running theme in their story.

Yes push and pull is totally their game. Sometimes as a viewer or reader, I really think why can't they get tired of it. But as per their characters, they will never stop trying to upmanship and I totally loved this game where they dont try to shove down the other and but rise themself up.🤍❤

Regarding second kiss - Yes as Raavi's emotion were displayed, I was having sympathy for her. I will wait for Shiva's POV as to hwy he did that and I know you I wont be disappointed with it after reading.💚🙈

This one upmanship is the one of the reasons why readers/viewers get connected to that pair as that is the man spice and they know they wont be ever left "pheeka" because of it. And you write it is so best. ❤❤

Totally, nowadays the whole world is changing and moving but there are certain things which are same old same old. People need to accept that marriage and motherhood are not the only things in women's life. It is a PART of life and not the LIFE itself but that is yet to be understand and accept.
