Chapter 1
"Shiva, please don't do this to me, I love you!" She pleaded.
"I am sorry, Raavi." Shiva said in a cold voice. "I have to do it."
"I can't live without you." She wept.
"We can't live together." He tried to control his tears.
She slid down to his feet with tears in her eyes.
"Don't you love me, Shiva?"
"I do. But it's the best if you stay away from me." He said closing his eyes.
Raavi cried sitting on floor.
Shiva opened his eyes in a jerk. He looked around, he was sitting on his study desk and it was just a future vision what he saw few moments ago. Yes, Shiva Pandya can see the future. It was his special power. Also, he can read other peoples thoughts.
But was he really going to do this with Raavi? Was she really going to cry for him? Was there anyway he could change the future?
He had many questions but no one was there to answer them.
He looked at the clock; it was 8:47 AM. Realising that he was getting late for college, he wore his blue jeans and white T-shirt in a hurry and put on his black blazer.
He started his bike before Krish sat behind him. Soon, the bike came to life. Krish was his brother and only family. He love him like anyone and vice versa. The two brothers could die for each other and they could also kill others for each other. As soon ad they reached the college, they walked towards their classroom.
"Oh God, they're so hot!"
"I hope they notice me one day."
Both of them smiled at each hot and bold comments that came in every girls' mind.
As Shiva tried to concentrate on the lectures, he felt a gaze on him. He turned aside and saw the beautiful face smiling at him. She was sitting on the adjacent bench. The wind from the window was hitting her face and making her hair flow, it made her look more beautiful. She kept her left hand on her chin and sighed at Shiva.
He could do nothing, but smiled at her innocent beauty.
She put her pen in between her lips and blinked at him twice.
"I wish, I was the pen." Shiva said to himself.
"Miss Sharma!"
The professor's voice brought them to present.
Raavi Sharma didn't answer and packed her stuffs. She got up her seat and went towards the professor.
"I know you will send me out of the class as usual for not being attentive. Don't bother, I am leaving myself." She left the classroom.
Shiva chuckled and shook his head on her. Suddenly he realised that Krish was glaring at him.
"What?" He asked raising his brows.
"I heard that!" He replied.
"Heard what?" Shiva asked confused.
Krish glared again. Shiva tried to recall for a second. Why does he always forget that his brother also has the power to read the thoughts? Krish had surely heard him comparing himself with the pen.
Shiva gave him an awkward smile.
"Stay alert next time!" Krish said and Shiva shook his head.
These two brothers could read every one, but there is only one person, whose mind they were unable to read. Raavi.
In case of Shiva, it might be because she is his soul mate, but why couldn't Krish? Well, that was still a mystery.
Raavi walked in the college corridor. She was smiling just thinking about Shiva. She liked him from the first day itself. She noticed his white skin, his green eyes and dark brown hair. She had never seen a human as handsome as him.
It was her favourite thing to gaze at him. If someone says her, do nothing but observe Shiva all day, she would happily agree. She would need no food, no water. She keeps looking at him in every classes and that's why it's common for her to be kicked out by the professors.
She was so indulged in her thoughts that she had no idea when her heels tripped and she was about to fall. But suddenly she felt someone holding her waist and pulling her. On an eye blink, she was sitting in front of the girl's locker room. She looked around but found no one. She stood up and felt a pain.
"Sprain!" She sighed.
Raavi somehow managed to walk till the canteen. There she saw Shiva sitting with Krish. She marched towards him.
"I need to talk to you." She said.
"I don't." He replied coldly. "Let's leave, Krish."
He got from his seat and turned away to leave but she held his wrist to stop him.
"Listen, I don't know why you run away from me, but you always save me from every trouble. I don't have any proof of it because you come like a gale and go away like a storm. And today also you..."
"I didn't do anything." He whispered.
She pulled him closer holding his wrist.
"I know it was you. So don't even try, because I can feel you." She said in a slow, calm voice.
She let go of his wrist and moved to walk when she hissed in pain. Shiva bent to her height in order to help her but she showed him her palm saying to stop.
"I can take care of myself!"
She left in low steps. Shiva looked at Krish, he pressed his shoulder in assurance.
Raavi was angry with Shiva. She went inside the washroom holding a towel as soon as she reached home. She even didn't bother to switch on the lights of her bedroom.
When the water in the bathtub got warmed up, she climbed down the tub and felt her muscles relaxing. Her sprain also felt better. After a 15 min of relaxation, while drying get hair and body, she realized she had not brought her clothes in.
She wrapped the towel around her and walked out of the washroom towards the closet.
Her body froze when she felt a finger trailing up her arm and a hand moving round her waist after some seconds. She couldn't see the face as lights were off, but she could feel, it was him. Shiva. She held the towel tighter.
She closed her eyes when she felt his cold lips on her shoulder, pressing a gentle kiss against her skin. She felt him moving his lips across her shoulder and up her neck.
All of a sudden, she no more felt his touch and opened her eyes. She rushed to switch on the lights. No one was there except her. Just then, her eyes caught the window which was opened.
She let out a shaky breath.
"What the hell just happened?"
