Yeah, it happened in the US (Rhode Island, and not the Southern Belt to be more precise). The mother was American, she grew up in the US, and she pulled her daughter out of school (daughter is fully homeschooled so she does not have a chance to get Sex Ed)... They are a devout Christian family... and most people who are unaware of Sex Ed come from devout religious backgrounds where they believe chastity is the "gold" standard...

I watched a TLC episode on this in the past, and it's really sad how most of their Sex Ed comes the night before their marriage

What sucks about this is that Sex Ed isn't just about sexual intercourse. It's about learning how your own body works. By denying this knowledge, we are inadvertently teaching younger girls to be ashamed of their own bodies and that is incredibly sad and wrong. So many insecurities that girls might develop at that tender age could be prevented if they just knew more about themselves.

Back in the haveli, Shiva has a nightmare of the kaandar incident and he wakes up to check up on Raavi and says "agar aaj tujhe khaandar mein kuch ho jata toh main..." Raavi decides that she needs to thank shiva and in the morning, she sends him a thank you message to his phone and tries to run away in embarrassment but he catches her and says "itni badi jaan bachaiye aur itna chota thank you?" and she says "toh aur kaise thank you chaiye" and he looks down at her lips and she looks down at his, both of them get super awkward and he says "nahi chaiye tera thank you"

the focus shifts onto Suman's kangaan, and this is where the kangaan kaand starts

in between, we see shiva starting to get attracted to raavi and super awkward as well, her hair gets stuck in his shirt's button and he stares at her, she eats mangos and he stares at her in awe but he's still resistant and says "tera aur mera koi mel nahi hai'

maami instigates shiva and he takes a sickle and threatens to kill her if she doesn't give the kangaan - raavi tries to stop him and he badly yells at her "tujhe bolna ke chup re toh tu chup reh"

he vows that he will get the kangaan from maami before they leave the haveli

Wow. I am surprised with this latest knowledge. Everyone has right to this education. She was a bio teacher? That's truly sad. If she was uncomfortable, why did she teach that subject?

We were taught that in 7th grade science, bio in 9th and anatomy.

I remember getting taught sex Ed in 6th grade we even watched this hilarious animated movie lol it was helpful Coz before I only knew stuff due to movies but now had a technical name for it. Also they taught us about bc and sexual diseases etc which is so important for kids to know. But this was Canada can't imagine how they would teach this in desi countries 🤦🏻‍♀️
