@bold, 💯! My favorite scenes till date are those that weren't aimed to be romantic like Raavi acting as Shiva's proxy, Shiva being rattled by the noose, Raavi holding her pallu to shield Shiva from the sun, her grabbed onto his sleeve instead of his hand... so many different ways to interpret those scenes, and I loved the discussions we had back then

The scenes now are too direct... as if the CVs want the audience to interpret the scene in one way possible 😔 Even the dialogues have taken a nose dive. I'll reserve my comments for the BTS since I'm not 100% sure whether BTS drama is fueling the changes, but sometimes I just wish they followed the OG tracks (not make new tracks) but fit it to each character's personality...

I'm still finding it hard to believe that the girl who was willing to be a proxy/defend Shiva multiple times against Maami is now making such quick judgments... marriage should not have changed her this much... the core conflict should be, "Can I reconcile my past and move on to have a romantic relationship with this man?" not "Let me continue to misunderstand this man and brush off every insecurity he has "

Plus one!! The subtlety is what got me into them. It's so apparent they care so much and yet, yet they don't. World revolves around each other and yet they don't know. My favourite thing was always how much Raavi hesitated to even touch Dev but with Shiva it's just lemme hug you, lemme grab you lmao. Their shared history adds so much to the story.

I always love soulmatism scenes too tbh but the whole upcoming doesn't even feel right because that's all we're getting. We know they are endgame, kuch aur dedo please. Maybe them--just talking? The bar is in hell.

If I have learnt something in my long journey of watching shows, whether ITV or otherwise, it's a simple fact that I watch the show with a certain sense of detachment.

I neither get very involved off-screen or onscreen. That's how it becomes easier. When you have a certain sense of detachment, nothing upsets you.

I can troll, laugh, love and indulge yet be unaffected emotionally. It's a trait that I follow in my personal life too.

This is self-preservation and sanity! The show is merely a business pursuit for the channel, and the writers will write whatever gives them money!

Rest doesn't matter.

I have always found all the characters flawed in PS from day 1.

The drama has become louder, I agree, but no character is butchered if you ask me.

1. Suman was always a hypocrite and had her skewed sense of insecurity pre-leap too. She used to do more nautanki then.

2. Gautam was a great son, a shallow key guy. The only thing he could command was on his brothers. He still doesn't understand Shiva. He had always scolded him.

3. Dhara- she was exactly like this pre leap too. Extremely loving, but she used to be this one-person army. Baat chupana. She had constantly emotionally blackmailed Shiva and still does. If you go back to my Shiva Dhara posts, he had always been more dedicated to Dhara than any of the brothers, and he always suffered in silence when it came to her.

4. Shiva was always on edge with Raavi. Raavi insulted him most of the time, and he would always be bugged by the way she made fun of him. He enjoyed her attention, but the moment she dissed him, he would feel grumpy and sad. That's what exactly it is now. He is in love and hence wanted a real relationship. Nothing has changed. Had not Shiva read her diary, maybe he would have calmed down.

I don't see anything new in his behaviour right now.

5. Raavi is still blind as a bat.

Anita-She was scheming, but she did love Gautam at a point.

The drama has become Louder, but the characters are still what they were.

I still like the show and certainly love Shiva-Dhara more than any brother bhabhi dynamics.

Ooh, this is a great insight but then almost 150 episodes in and zero character development it seems. RIP.

I didn't wanted to love Shivi too but I do. But it is not the reason for me wake at morning unlike many fans.

Bcoz I know ITV specially Sitara that it will spoil my comfort ship.

1 thing which every show fans should follow is getting involved with actors personal life. Never get attached to it, in most of the cases u will be hurt and the comments on Social media will look toxic only.

Ditto ! With me it's the opposite..if I REALLY like a character, I wanna be as detached with the actor as I can be. I dun wanna know anything abt them just so they can live their character to the fullest in all forms....I can never understand what difference does it make if the actors get involved in personal.life....n how a couple is more attractive bec they r dating in real life..what pleasure do the fans derive out of it ? ..its only abt chemistry ..I have seen awesome Chemistry between warring actors too 😆

Social media nowadays is worse ..I feel actors r asked to pretend friendship off screen..that's really very stupid....more appearances on sm makes it worse..let their work talk..

@Bold This is something I need to learn 😆 The sa🤗 me thing happened with me and QH season 2. I rewatched it during lockdown and I loved it (I knew where to stop) and I pretended SaHil got their happy ending. It was a great decision esp since I never thought I would get over that heartbreak 😆 Maybe I should rewatch Madhubala again. I really enjoyed the initial episodes. Was never attached to the show but it was a great watch! I love the point that you make! 😊

You should post more. We need more perspectives like yours on this forum! 🤗

🤗 aaw thank you ..🥰

Beating scenes of PS is not shown in many countries.

I have heard even that Dhara beating Shiva and Krish weren't telecasted in many places.

Do Actors, writers, creatives & production house know this?

They need to know, that some acts they put up is not even considered viewable by half the world!

Dhara gave interviews about her new roop during danda pitas episodes! It was supposed to be a great mending act by mature mother figure as per actor playing Bhabhi's role. Whatever!

That makes so much sense! I try and then eventually end up looking them up on social media 😆 but you make a very valid point! It’s best to be detached.

@Bold that is so true! In fact, I find couples who are either purely friends or don’t like being associated with one another/dislike each other make for the best onscreen pairs! They are able to create a raw chemistry! Often times, I find that ITV couples who are too lovey dovey offscreen lose their charm onscreen 😆

💯 it’s all about appearances and I get that it’s part of their job but one should know where to draw the line. Otherwise, no matter how good your work is… people will talk about everything else besides that. Things that aren’t even real 😆

I think they would be knowing it.

But it doesn't matter, they don't even care about social media dislike for a track why will they care what is happening outside the country when it isn't benefiting them that much.

For channel and producers (If they don't wanna think something progressive) it doesn't matter the hate they r getting on social media for them only trp matters as that is buisness. So they don't give a damn if foreign viewers r liking it or not as show is run by trp audience and not by them.

@Bold: The beating Dhara and Gaumbi has given r horrible. No parent does that specially to a married man. It is in soo bad taste.

We have already talked about how Pandya Store actors r in their delusion world that's why they find beating cool and normal and call the show realistic.
