I'm glad you are getting attached to Dev. With each passing day, I am liking Rishita more and more that it's getting harder to write any sort of fanfiction 🤣. I desperately want to write a DevTa fanfiction, but Dev, as per show, is not to my liking...

I think I’m getting attached to the Dev in my story 😆 Honestly, with all the characters I am getting attached to the ones from various fanfics. The show is merely a shadow of its former self. I can’t find anything to look forward to. Rishita is honestly the only character I like on the show right now.

Dev on the show is so hard to like. The writers didn’t even bother to develop his character and show us what really goes on in his mind. Raavi is slowly headed in that direction. I think you should make your own Dev… as in what Dev could have been had the writers done justice. I would love to read that ❤️

Guys I just watched the kids scene. Their mother really came to say that they behaved that way because Rishita scolded in English.

I am eldest among my cousins in my mothers side and have done quite a lot of babysitting duties- usually when they go out of limit in this way, I have seen them getting scoldings not justification 😕

But they sometimes do satyanash of my room hence as soon as I know that I will be on their duty first thing I do is to manage my room so that they can't get their hands on anything🤣

Was reading snippets of one of my favorite fluff novels: Romancing Mister Bridgerton late last night.

In that novel, the main character feels like he’s only known as the handsome Bridgerton brother. As if he has no substance and contributes nothing to those around him. He feels like people can’t see him beyond his looks. There is a feeling of inadequacy. According to him, he is nowhere near as talented as his brothers. He even hides his writing because of this insecurity.

Something like this would have been a great angle to explore between Shiva and Dev and DevTa.

Dev could have had moments where he feels like no one looks beyond his looks and degree. (I feel like I’m getting attached to the Dev I’m writing in my FF 😆). That it’s only Shiva everyone relies on in time of need. He even wonders why Rishita liked him in the first place. I would have loved watching a track like this which leads to a DevTa confrontation and them finally talking about why they love each other.

But of course, this is never going to happen 😆

oh gosh dont compare dev to colin lol obviously in a family of 8 siblings he was bound to feel lost lol on top his story with pen lol

dev and rishita lack the proper back story and its almost like default dev has to work at the shop wish he wanted to work elsewhere and they could commute back and forth with so many people in the house devta could have been the couple who preferred to stay elsewhere while still coming home regularly and still being close to the family.

I have never skipped DevTa scenes, might be disappointed with Akshay’s acting but Simran makes up for it, I always wanted their story to be shown as well because I love Jeeva-Meena from the OG. Meena had the best character growth of all of them in that show. The actress who plays Meena in the OG, Hema got the hang of Meena’s character right from the beginning and has made it a pleasure to watch her and Jeeva scenes on screen. Jeeva is nothing like Dev.

The makers have a good template, reference point can’t believe they are letting it all go.

I’m not comparing Dev to Colin 😆 I am simply giving a possible storyline to explore. Dev, if written well could have easily become a fan favorite character. DevTa had so much potential. The writers just didn’t do justice.

I doubt if they are even watching the og or not at this point.

Or do they just read the summary from somewhere, take the tracks from there only to mess it up 🤕

Rishita is a firecracker, if utilised properly she would be amazing to watch onscreen.but she is made a Baahubali or a joker, I am so dissapointed with the makers!
