Part 3:
When the game started again, Raavi was feeling light. She wasn’t drunk per se, but everything felt amazing. Krish had dragged Shiva into the game too. Raavi decided not to look at him. She had to focus on Dev, and Dev only. People were starting to get the wrong impression. They spun the bottle and this time it landed on Dev again.
“Truth.” Dev said.
“Ek baat bata. Tu yeh raat raat bhar phone pe kisse baatein karta hai?” Krish asked.
Dev looked flabbergasted. Raavi thought of the time when she had called Dev and asked help for her assignment. He had spent the entire night with her on the phone helping her. That must be what Krish was saying. Raavi blushed at the thought, but Dev refused to answer the question. The whole group pleaded him, but he refused to reveal anything at all.
“Aisa koi nahi hai.” Dev said.
“Koi toh hai. Raat ko kisse baat karta hai tu?” Krish asked.
“Tumlogo se hi. Kabhi Yash ka phone aata hai toh kabhi Kartik ka.”
“Main nahi maanta.”
When Dev didn’t give a proper answer, he had to flip for a dare. Kartik made him prank call a professor. It was hilarious. Raavi thought he looked so sweet and innocent all the time. The bottle was spun again and after some hilarious rounds, it landed on Shiva. Raavi couldn’t wait for her turn.
“Last time dare liya tha tumne toh iss baar truth. Batao Shiva, tumhe kabhi kisi ladki pe crush aaya hai?” Kirti asked.
“Nahi answer karna yeh wala.”
Raavi’s jaws dropped open. He could’ve said no. Why wasn’t he answering? As far as she knew Shiva, he was incapable of having a crush. Everyone asked him to tell, but he remained adamant.
“Bol de na kisi pe nahi hai.” Raavi said.
“Kyu? Jhoot nahi bolta main.”
Raavi was shocked. It didn’t make sense. Shiva didn’t even look at girls. Then she noticed Pari smiling at him. Was he talking about Pari? But they met tonight. It didn’t make any sense. Did they fall in love in one night? Couldn’t be. Raavi was horrified at this prospect. Why did she have to ask Pari to distract him? It was her own fault.
“Agar answer nahi karoge toh punishment milega.” Dev warned.
“Manzoor hai. Kya punishment?” Shiva asked.
“50 push-ups. Yahi pe.” Gilheri said. “Humesha tumhe store pe heavy heavy bore uthate dekhti hu. Strong lagte ho kaafi. Karke dikhao 50 push-ups.”
Raavi rolled her eyes. Why couldn’t this girl stop her tharakpan? Without further prompting, Shiva got up. Raavi followed him with her eyes as she stepped away from the crowd and took off his shirt. He threw it at Raavi and it landed right on her face. She glared at him. Shiva got on the floor and started his push-ups. The crowd cheered.
Raavi was surprised to see him doing those push-ups so comfortably. But more than that she was surprised to see those huge biceps. He really was so strong. Raavi was completely mesmerised by his physique. She had trouble taking her eyes off of his strong shoulders and his arms. Shiva Pandya was hot, Raavi finally acknowledged. He was done with fifty push-ups in no time. Raavi still couldn’t stop staring. His skin was glazed with sweat. He took a bottle of water and poured it on himself. Raavi’s breath came in heavy.
He walked upto her and knelt down. His face was so close to her that Raavi had to close her eyes to control her wildly pounding heart. She opened them quickly and he winked at her. For a second, her heart stopped. What was happening? Shiva pulled his shirt from her lap.
“Ab ghoorti hi rahegi?” He whispered. “Muh toh bandh kar le.”
Raavi realised she had been drooling slightly. Blushing, she looked sideways to find both Pari and Gilheri staring at him. Shiva didn’t wear his shirt right away. He stopped to drink water. Raavi got up and kept his bottle away. Then she made him wear his shirt so that the girls would stop staring. Shiva just gave her an amused glance but quietly wore his shirt. She pulled him to the table and made him sit beside her this time.
The game started once more. Raavi was still clutching onto his sleeve. For some reason, she didn’t want to let go. Neither did he complain. After another round, the bottle landed on Raavi. She suddenly remembered her plan and let go of Shiva’s sleeve. It was finally time to prove her love.
“Truth or dare?” Kirti asked with a wink.
“Dare.”
She pretended to think for a bit. “Tujhe kiss karna parega.” She pretended to look around. “Dev ko.”
Raavi pretended to protest. Dev looked uncomfortable but everyone started cheering on. Shiva looked mad. He glared at Raavi, but Raavi was feeling strange. All her so called courage had left her. She took a breath to calm herself. It was fine to prove her love. She couldn’t chicken out. She looked at Dev and again lost all her courage. Dev looked scared. She was rooted in her spot. Everyone staring at her didn’t help matter. She scooched a little closer to Dev, but her heart started pounding. Not in excitement, but in fear.
She didn’t understand why but she felt almost repelled by the idea of kissing Dev. At first she thought she had been nervous, but the more she thought about it, the more she realised she didn’t want to kiss him. Just as she imagined herself kissing Dev, her entire body would twitch rejecting the idea. But how would she prove her love if she didn’t kiss Dev? Her heart and her body simply said no to the idea of kissing Dev.
Raavi looked at Shiva in her confusion, but he was simply glaring at her. Raavi clutched at his sleeve again. When Gilheri asked her to kiss Dev again, Raavi shook her head. Everyone was stunned. She moved closer to Shiva again and clutched his hands tightly.
“This is not fair. Dare hai toh karna parega.” Gilheri said.
“Use Dev ko kiss nahi karna.” Shiva said.
“Agar woh comfortable nahi hai toh kyu force karna.” Dev said. He was finally relieved. “Koi aur dare do usko.”
“Achha yeh kiss wala chod dete hai. Kuch aur. Tu dance kar le.” Kirti smiled.
“No! Ise itne easily nahi chorungi. Kiss toh karna parega Raavi. Dev nahi toh aur koi. Take your pick.”
Raavi knew she had royally messed up. Gilheri wouldn’t let this matter go. Dev tried to protest on her behalf but Gilheri wasn’t in the mood to listen. She either had to kiss someone or leave the party. Leaving the party wasn’t an option. She would become the laughing stock of her college. Gilheri wouldn’t leave a chance to tell everyone what happened.
“Shiva...”’His name came to her lips automatically like a prayer.
Shiva looked surprised. Raavi was surprised too. She didn’t expect this. Out of everyone present there, Raavi realised that she only wanted to kiss Shiva. He was the only man she felt comfortable with. The thought of kissing him didn’t repel her. Instead, she had butterflies in her stomach. Her heart pounded in excitement. It was everything she had dreamed of. The only difference was, her heart pounded for Shiva, not Dev.
“Kya hua Raavi?”
Shiva calling her by her name made her blush even more. She caught his collar and pulled him closer to her. Just as she was about to put her lips onto his, Shiva pulled away. He took her hand and dragged her to the storeroom.

I hope everyone enjoyed this part! We had so much fun cooking up the dare scenes.🤣
