There was a good amount of discussion on Rishita and it reminded me of something I had wanted for Raavi Rishita bond. I had wanted them to be friends- not the usual friendship but the kind of friends who would not hesitate to tell you your mistakes in front of everyone and yet always have your back. The kind of friends with whom you can be snarky and frustrated yet they would calmly take all your mood swings . Rishita and Raavi are two polar opposites as girls yet their married life situations have fair amount of similarities for such a relation to blossom. I had thought of how it would all start.

Rishita is on the terrace( no idea if they have one just assuming) after another row in the house over Janardhan insulting Gaumbi . Dev had been furious and told Rishita that now there can never be any ties between her mayka and sasuraal. Rishita's temper had flared at such and she had answered back that her father did wrong to the family so did her bua, but what about her mother and sister? Can't she even talk to them. Dev had walked away angrily and Rishita found herself in the terrace.

"Painful isn't it?," She heard Raavi and told her to back off she does not want to talk and she can't even understand what she is going through. Raavi sits beside her. "Maami , kangan, Shiva; rings a bell? I don't think anyone nearby can understand you as well as I can right now." Her words jolt Rishita. It is true. Raavi is in a fairly similar situation as hers.

" But we accept gifts from maami and she also comes to the functions."

"Hmm at times I think it would be better if she doesn't. Each time she comes she makes matters worse insulting Dhara didi or provoking Shiva leaving everyone in foul mood."

Rishita looks at her wide eyed . Raavi rolls her eyes and says that she loves her maasi - she is the only mother Raavi has known but she can admit that her maasi behaviour with Pandya family is obnoxious. She has told her several times to not interfere in family matters but to no avail.

Rishita chuckled bitterly why we do have such relations between our mayka and sasuraal- what a way to bond. Raavi smiles. Rishita looks at her and finally breaks down saying that she knows her family did so much wrong to Pandyas but it is not easy to cut ties from the family that raised you with so much love. Everything hurts. Raavi side hugs her and says that everything will be better with time; till then we will have each other.

I never thought I would make a post on Dev, but here I am😅.

I think the makers are knowingly showing Dev more affected after knowing about gaura's sacrifice.

He is the second eldest son, always praised by the society.the ideal child who got good grades since childhood.the topper of the college.intellectual, soft spoken, studious and responsible.

Today we could see his frustration when he was going through his stuff.

What is the use of all those degrees, hardwork and societal praises if he is not even capable of fulfilling a basic need of the family by himself?

Today he also doubted his worth.i think the devta and shivi parallel was beautiful.both in self doubt, drowned in hopelessness, rejecting the help of their respective wives.

The fact that he is staying in his brothers room just adds to his despair.

I think Dev would somehow arrange the money this time.

one of the things I've noticed since the beginning is that nobody, not even Dhara for that matter, can understand shiva the way suman does & no, that's not because they're mother-son

it's because they function in the exactly same way

they're both righteous, fearless, selfless & brazenly honest people who wear their hearts on their sleeve

even in reality, such people are very, very hard to come by

Exactly . Writters ne saare tracks ka khichdi bana diya. No one wants 20 mins of Shivi but atleast they can give 10 mins to Shivi . I do not want to see romance all the time. But I want meaningful scenes of Raavi and Shiva. we are not getting proper scenes of Raavi as an individual character. Everything is all about Dhara and her mahantaa.

I loved her today...Infact after Gaumbi my heart went out to Raavi today...Both of them need to be protected. The Shivi scene was small but subtle and meaningful. Her excitement in the angan over Dhara getting the new room. Shiva always wanted a girl who would love his family way more than herself. He has found that girl in Raavi and am sure he realises that too. The moment Raavi hands him over the jewellery we see so much happiness on his face...he was so touched my her gesture. Shiva knows the real Raavi...its his insecurities that is making him say all those hurtful words. I really wish the we get a Raavi monologue tomorrow....the scene after Shiva left was bit abrupt.

All said...today Gaumbi and Raavi have my whole heart❤️
