Instead, I would re-write Pandya Store to be very different, aiming to bring out a different version of every actor which ITV has not really seen before. Star Plus would probably fire me before they hire me, but here is how I would change the romantic equations between the three couples:

GauRa

They would follow the trope of best friends falling in love. Since there is a 10 year leap, they would have a sweet, tooth-rotting romance filled with GauRa sharing domestic chores. They have a strong and stable relationship, and they will never doubt each other, even if an unwanted third wheel like Anita enters. Dhara would allocate responsibilities equally among the 3 brothers as she helps Gaumbi in the store and at home. The major issues these two would face would be to accept the new daughters-in-law, solving store crises, planning for a future family, and solving the issue of Dhara's mother.

DevTa

They would follow the trope of a woman being the dominant one in the relationship. I am tired of ITV showing stay-at-home bahus who do nothing but cooking. It's an insult to all the working woman out there. Rishita, in my version, would be the more intelligent out of the two. She would be the one giving all the ideas to the Pandya family, on how to expand their business, and who to contact, I'm assuming as Janardhan's daughter she would know plenty of business contacts. Dev would support her in her dreams and be fine with the idea of having a wife who was more successful than him. The major issues they would face would be to navigate through their new relationship (now with more responsibilities), issues regarding expanding the store into a chain store, bringing ShiVi together (as they feel guilty for what happened in the wedding), and changing Janardhan's mind.

ShiVi

They would follow the trope of two childhood frenemies falling in love with each other. The only thing I would change in their relationship would be to have ShiVi be best friends prior to Shiva's father's death. However, after his father's death, Shiva pushes Raavi to the sidelines. He feels guilty about pushing her away, but he also feels guilty as her family was a contributor to his father's death. Despite 'hating' her, he quietly watches her growing up (cue to longing stares), and despises how she is crazy about his brother. Once they get married, they would have an angsty, steamy romance filled with longing stares, childhood memories of what they once were, and confusion over how their marriage would proceed. Cute, in their equation, only enters once Shiva confesses his love to Raavi.

So yeah, I don't know about cute... but I could give you angsty, romantic, comedy for ShiVi. Oh, and for the love of god, I would have ointment scenes 🤔

I would include ego clashes in Devta.

Dhara and raavi friction fr Shiva

Shivi conversation reflecting their pain

@bold: I think this will come in the future.. SP has this weird obsession with devar-bhabhi tracks 🤪

I am trying to see light at the end of the tunnel😆 In the ShiVi scene, Raavi talk about why doesn't she get the respect as she did not do anything and all along he has been only hating her, which is true. But she also said,

kisi baat ka itna gussa hai tere andhar,

Isi tarah kudh me andhar hi andhar ubalta raha na, ek dhin basma ho jaayega!

Raavi is absolutely right! Shiva needs to cut down on the hatred and anger especially towards Raavi

It's time for Shiva to start opening up to her😕

I don't feel good about this Mansukh Bhai-Money lender kaand😕

I think Shiva will feel better once the kangan are back with Suman.. this was a major trigger point for him and now he will feel that at least he did something right by his mother, and his anger will reduce. Of course he can't treat Maami with respect till she changes, and I don't think he should either. He can just treat her the way Suman does

I don't feel good about the moneylending business either.. I have a feeling it's going to badly backfire on Shiva like everything in this show does 😕

Just saw the episode... they managed to trivialise another major issue😆😆

I liked the convo between raavi and shiva , when raavi explained how her maasi had raised her since she was 10 days old...I Just wish it was a bit intense and longer.instead of two scenes , they could have had one long confrontation scene.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in shivas mind?why does he need Sawa lakh rupees? I just hope he does not have some weird idea of buying his mother's kangan back.that makes no sense🤧🤧

Anita's oil spill kaand can fulfill 3 purposes

1 ) it can give us a shiva caring for raavi scene ( I wish it happens 😍)

2) it can lead to raavi doubting Anita's intentions, if she can manage to connect the dots.

3) Anita may feel guilty seeing raavi injured and drop her evil plans for a while.

If neither of this happens there is no point of this build up and precap 😅

I am not talking about how he is treating Mami or how he should treat her in the future. I am only talking about his inner turmoil and the way he doesn't open up to anybody. Has he given anyother valid reason as to why he hates Raavi other than she is raised by Maami

If he feels strongly that he needs to get the kangans back, then he needs to take Suman into confidence and devise a plan. Only she can help him.

GauRa and DevTa are useless, they will be the first one to stop him.

Those are great, organic ideas! Years ago, I watched a Telugu serial called ammamma . com where there were 0 crazy villains, third wheels, oil spilling drama, NDEs. The entire serial ran on conflicts that normal couples faced and how a grandmother promoted her business on the online sphere. It was slow moving, but very realistic and very nice. I wish Pandya Store borrowed some ideas from there, or just followed the original show to the dialogue.

I wouldn't mind if ego clashes led to DevTa wanting to divorce each other. It would be drama that I am willing to watch/something that seems realistic as Rishita most likely did not know what she was signing herself up for. I think such a track would really come full circle if ShiVi end up helping them understand each other, and in the process, grow closer to each other.

Dhara and Raavi's friction for Shiva would need to be handled with utmost care. I don't know if I trust the CVs based on the more recent episodes since they seem more bent on making Dhara into a "Devi" than keeping her human. Firstly, for such a track, I would tone down Shiva's blind devotion for Dhara and turn it more into respect and something like sisterly/motherly love. I would then have it so Raavi knows more about Shiva than what is being portrayed on screen (so definitely more conversations between the two). In order for us to have a good Dhara vs. Raavi scenes, we need to see Raavi be able to say, "Well I know Shiva, too, and he does not like/want this Dhara Di." Right now, Dhara has too far of an advantage that Raavi may be rendered speechless.

ShiVi's conversation about their pain is another 'handle with care' scenario. In order for the CVs to do that, they need to stop the nok-jhoks for a few episodes and just show focused episodes of nothing but their pain. We also would need to hear their inner thoughts/speeches with their reflections to make sure what they are saying matches with what they are thinking.
